As an update, I ended up buying about 5-10 pairs of bluetooth headphones from the £0 to £300 price range to demo-them and decide which to keep. The top headphones I kept were: 1. Apple Airpods They simply are just way too fucking easy to use. So quick to put in your ear, so quick to charge, compact, microphone gives amazing call quality, can be used in any situation, multi device pairing. They have shit noise isolation, don't get loud enough, competitors have better sound quality but none really nail the ease of use of just being able to put them somewhere on your ear and bam you're in. Othere competitors require SLIGHTLY more fiddling to get them in and out, and sadly for a shitty little earphone like this, convenience and ease of use is EVERYTHING IMO. 2. Sony CH700Ns These headphones are incredible and IMO might just be the BEST sounding bluetooth headphones on the market. Most high end bluetooth headphones specify in active noise cancelling My providing passive noise isolation and active noise isolation they reduce ambient noise to nearly zero. Sony XM3000s and the QC Comfort IIs. However this comes at a BIG audio sacrifice which no amount of codec support of technological wizardry can completely undo. That is they sacrifice sound stage and imaging to block out ambient noise by capitalising on the ANC and passive noise cancelling. These headphones have ANC but don't prioritise it (at all). The earcups are huge and soft and not deep, the air flow is crazy good and the noise isolation is average (sound can leak easier). This leads to a very very very impressive soundstage for a bluetooth headphone. They also are one of the lightest headphones on the market so great for gym. And they have 37+ hours of battery life. They also pack a very basic but solid ANC for blocking out car noising/airplanes/gym noises. They don't deal with voices and don't provide complete silence due to the open cup of the headphone (necessary for its amazing soundstage). Its bass is also just incredible and has a custom EQ on board. Its build quality, design, style are shit. Basically the average bluetooth buyer of headphones wants ANC, good looks, touch controls, passive noise isolation, folding headphones, no sound leakage, good build quality, a case. This headphone says fuck you and basically gives as good as an audiophile bluetooth headphone you can get for one third of the price of the very high end headphones. I do wish the build quality was much better and I also wish they shipped with a case but oh well. I use both of these for gym. Neither are sweat proof and they'll probably break within <1 year but I'm fine replacing them rather than spending £300 on a supbar set of the higher end headphones which sacrifice SQ for ANC.

Fair enough rei, although I will say you're missing out on possibly one of the most engrossing, dark and beautiful gaming experiences available. also the colour palette in dark souls DARASTICALLY changes throughout the game. you'll go from the slums, do absolutely disgusting swamps to some of the most beautiful scenery in gaming.

im just about to buy my first pay of audiophile type headphones to see the hype. akg 712s + a fiio amp. i just wanna what high end audio really is and what ppl mean by soundstage. i loved my 5.1 speaker setup but something about headphones is just 100x more intimate.

Been Practicing with BA all year. Can't wait for the link to come out in May. I still need to improve in the chain link area and figure how to make my opponent miss timing and what not. It's such a hard deck to master, even though It may not seem to hard to play at first glance. Definitely is the deck for intellectuals. Will go to the NAWCQ this summer for sure with BA. Hoping the Ban list helps the deck cause this will probably be the last chance for the deck to be champ again. I recently broke someone killer board with BA and went on to win. It was most satisfying. Will Be Starting Trucking this week, so I would like to kindly ask if somebody can post their games with the new Burning Abyss link on YouTube so it can help me prepare. I love next level plays in Yugioh lol. Will definitely pay for that. After Nationals I may switch to Paleo as my new main deck, as long as they can stay tier 3. Not sure if there are any other decks I would like to play. Before Links came out Junk Doppel was one of the most hardest decks to master. It couldn't do well in events because it had no representation, but it had a killer first turn if it could dodge hand traps. Don't get me wrong, I play to win and I'm not satisfied with anything less than World Champ, But I accept that I will need to get lucky to win an Event. I believe an example of this was when Six Samurais won a YCS in 2012 wind up format. The Player got lucky with opening Gateway most of his games. All in all we just have to have faith and know when an event is ours to win. I hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for reading.

recently started watching VRAINS, which is partially how I was reintroduced to the TCG. Other than that, I've been reading SJ monthly manga like "JJBA Part 8: Jojolion" and "Mairimashita! Iruma-Kun".

*leans from behind a wall* Is it safe for me to even appear here anymore? *walks out from behind the wall* Whatever, not like I really care about this place that much, might want to see if I can get out of the negatives, if possible. So, with that little thing out of the way, I'm lavaman555, as far as some, or most, know I am kinda famous for being bad. Wondering why I'm here now, I'm here to post my current list for Orcust, and get some help with it. Currently I am using it in real life, even ran an older version of this list at the Indy Regional on November 3rd. I went 4-5, if you want to know what I played and how each round went, I'll post it after this. So, here's the list, I even given a link to the list if people want to see the cards. Main Deck: (40) Monsters:(20) 3 Armageddon Knight 3 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring 2 Cyber Dragon 1 Dark Grepher 1 Orcust Brass Bombard 3 Orcust Cymbal Skeleton 3 Orcust Harp Horror 2 World Legacy - "World Crown" 2 World Legacy - "World Wand" Spells:(19) 3 Allure of Darkness 2 Called by the Grave 1 Foolish Burial 1 Monster Reborn 2 Orcustrated Babel 2 Orcustrated Einatz 2 Orcustrated Return 2 Terraforming 2 World Legacy Succession 2 World Legacy Survivor Trap:(1) 1 Orcustrated Core Extra Deck:(15) 1 Chimeratech Fortress Dragon 1 Chimeratech Megafleet Dragon 1 Borrelguard Dragon 3 Galatea, the Orcust Automaton 1 Knightmare Unicorn 1 Linkuriboh 2 Longirsu, the Orcust Orchestrator 2 Orcustion 1 Summon Sorceress 1 Topologic Bomber Dragon 1 Wee Witch's Apprentice Side:(15) 3 Droll & Lock Bird 2 Effect Veiler 2 Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju 2 Ghost Orge & Snow Rabbit 2 Twin Twisters 2 Evenly Matched 2 Red Reboot Well, that took a while for me, but other than that, yeah. Monsters [29]: 3x Block Dragon 3x Dinowrestler Pankratops 1x Gem-Knight Garnet 1x Giant Rex 3x Gigantes 2x Gokibore 2x Gokipole 3x Kumongous, the Sticky String Kaiju 2x Madolche Petingcessoeur 3x Mathematician 1x Resonance Insect 3x SPYRAL Super Agent 1x Shaddoll Dragon 1x The Rock Spirit Spells [11]: 1x Brilliant Fusion 1x Foolish Burial 1x Gold Sarcophagus 2x Instant Fusion 1x One-Time Passcode 3x Shaddoll Fusion 2x Unexpected Dai Extra: 1x Abyss Dweller 1x Borreload Dragon 1x Borrelsword Dragon 1x Curious, the Lightsworn Dominion 1x El Shaddoll Shekhinaga 1x Gem-Knight Zirconia 1x Karbonala Warrior [IF target] 1x Knightmare Cerberus 1x Knightmare Phoenix 1x Link Spider 1x Missus Radiant 1x Number 101: Silent Honor ARK 1x Number 41: Bagooska the Terribly Tired Tapir 1x Saryuja Skull Dread 1x Tornado Dragon Side: 1x Barrier Statue of the Drought 3x Hey, Trunade! 1x Instant Fusion 1x Madolche Petingcessoeur 1x Monster Reborn 3x Performage Hat Tricker 1x Tackle Crusader 1x The Rock Spirit 3x Twin Twisters Main Deck: The principle of the deck is to go second, ideally OTK, if not then break their board and finish next turn. The deck is equipped with many main deck removal options that simultaneously swarm the field. Let me introduce you to some cards that you may not be familiar with. Resonance Insect EARTH Insect Lvl 4, 1000 / 700 (A/D) If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 Level 5 or higher Insect-Type monster from your Deck to your hand. If this card is banished: You can send 1 Insect-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard, except "Resonance Insect". Gokipole EARTH Insect Lvl 3 1000 / 1200 If this card is sent to the GY: You can add 1 Level 4 Insect monster from your Deck to your hand. If you added a Normal Monster by this effect, you can Special Summon it, then you can destroy 1 monster on the field whose ATK is higher than or equal to the ATK of the Special Summoned monster. You can only use this effect of “Gokipole” once per turn. These cards are quite potent. Gokipole gives the deck access to off-field, non-targeting destruction. It’ll out all your favorite big boys like Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss, Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair, etc while putting a monster on your field. Resonance can send this card to the GY when banished, working in tandem with your rock monsters. Resonance is a crazy card. Use it for a link summon, or just crash it, and you can search a Kaiju. Then banish it and you can summon and destroy a monster. It can very easily dismantle boards that don’t have Colossus up. Note, Resonance is not once per turn so you can trigger the field effect again via Skull Dread and the banish effect dumps more fodder for the rock monsters. Also, it is a natural predator to Dark Matter. If they don’t have Colossus up then you’ll get free stuff and a pop. I was originally running 3 of each and no Math, but this can lead to bricking since the rock monsters need an earth in grave and the side decked Hat Trickers need two monsters on the field. The cards are great for protecting your link monsters effects via the Chain Link and vice versa. With a lot of effect negation running around I didn’t deem this as valuable and for these reasons opted for Math. Also, Math can send Dragon to pop floodgates. Block Dragon EARTH Rock Lvl 8 2500 / 3000 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand or Graveyard) by banishing 3 EARTH monsters from your hand and/or Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. Rock-Type monsters you control cannot be destroyed, except by battle. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can add up to 3 Rock-Type monsters from your Deck to your hand, whose total Levels equal 8. You can only use this effect of "Block Dragon" once per turn. This is the backbone of the deck. The other cards pick apart boards and this guy gives the push and grind. It is generally the priority to get out, but sometimes you can OTK without it. The summoning condition is not once per turn and will give you a recurring beat stick that also generates advantage thanks to the second effect. Gigantes EARTH Rock Lvl 4 1900 / 1300 Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 EARTH monster from your Graveyard. If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field. Like its cousin The Rock Spirit it is a lvl 4 inherent summon that adds to the swarming ability and searchable off block dragon. Unlike its cousin, it has a great effect. Not sure how heavy storm got printed onto the effect of a rock monster in IOC, but I’ll take it. Perfect out to copious backrow and floodgates since it activates during the damage step and off field. Throw down a Kaiju to disable stuff like Widow Anchor or Salamangreat Roar. The rest of the main deck monster contribute to either removal or getting three different earth types for Curious. SPYRAL Super Agent is good because most decks are skewed towards one type. You’ll likely guess right vs the combo decks, which would be the most critical matchups to hit. Vs. backrow decks you can afford to whiff, but it also increases your odds of winning if you hit. I’m main deck the Shaddoll engine to increase the number of main deck ways to reach block dragon and it’s just good vs most decks right now. Pop a backrow, pop a monster via Gokipole, and get a free card when you use it for a link summon. Your odds of winning will go up quite a bit if you resolve this card. Gold Sarcophagus, Instant Fusion, One-Time Passcode, and Unexpected Dai are just proxy for more earths. Cards are ran at 2 so once per turn effects aren’t dead. Consider them as a conglomerate rather than individual cards. Extra Deck: Pretty self-explanatory. I was running Azathot but in absent of things like Nekroz or Witchcrafter Golem I decided to drop it. Perhaps against Kunquery, but I found myself going into tornado dragon more. Honor Ark is my last choice, simply a removal option that won’t trigger Raye. Would consider replacing with exciton if I thought I’d encounter more rouge decks. Side Deck: I’m on the fence about Hey! Trunade and would consider swapping it for Typhoon. I don’t have much to side against Rum decks and having 3 Typhoons would give me 6 cards to try to stop the opening play. Useful in other match-ups like Sky Striker too as a handtrap and to kill summon limit. Also considering impermanence for extra outs to Vanity’s and perhaps preventing Azathot set-up. Not sure how successful that would be. Tackle Crusader is used to out Vanity’s Fiend while also being good vs Thunder Dragons. It can be sent via brilliant fusion too. Barrier Statue is your go to T1 play vs combo decks. Most are pretty mono and will have few outs to it. I run it over dyna as the decks you’d want to side this kind of card against aren’t earth and it allows you to still summon monsters so you can push for game next turn. Ideally, you want to make #41 + statue, but if not then go for Skull dread -> Barrier -> Missus. This way barrier will be in def pos with 1800. That won’t be run over. Also, it is a relatively simple side in if you suspect your opponent may make you go first. If not, you always have dweller. The other cards are for going first since you play with your going second cards in the main deck. Future: I’m excited for Tianwei Dragon – Vishudda, an honorary earth thanks to the Link 1. With it, even more of the deck will contribute to removing opponent’s cards. Also, it’ll increase your odds of milling something extra from Curious. Salamangreat Almiraj is card that I think would justify cutting math and running three Gokipole and Resonance Insect. You could trigger their effects to get an earth in grave, enabling the rock monsters, and get a second monster on the field, enabling Hat Tricker. Also, it would allow you to search a Kaiju much more often. You could search Scary Moth which restricts both players to one ss a turn. You can also search Contact “C”, which can be good against decks that want to resolve place dependent effects like Summon Sorc or Gaurdragons. In addition, they provide Curious with natural protection against things like Ash or Salamangreat Roar thanks to chain links. I’ve recorded some duels with the deck: Keep in mind I’m far more out of this game than in and only come back now and again when things pique my interest. All in all I think the earth stuff is sleeper that will someday break.

I watched all of neverland last night. It Had a poor man’s shinsekai yori vibe to start. The first episode was excellent but I didn’t think it captured the lightning in the bottle for the rest of the season. The pacing was horrendous. The scheduled deliveries was also criminally under utilized and took away such a crucial element to the first episodes success. Neverland was alright but there was too much I didn’t like and the laziness from the writer was annoyjng

I played it when the starters came out but the format became pretty solved as it should be just with the small card pool. I played this past weekend with all the new cards and it was pretty fun. Just hope they have actual organized play events for this and treat it like a real format.

Finished Goblin Slayer. Overall mixed feelings if I were to review it. On one hand, episode 1 sets the tone for possibly one of the most brutal dark animes ever, but its really inconsistent. Episodes 1, 2, 7, 8, 11, 12 were great. However the ones inbetween just lacked the brutality. I get it. They like to contrast light hearted fantasy with sheet brutality but they really lost that during certain parts of the show. Like REALLY lost it. It was still a really really great ride. It had the potential to be a modern day Berserk but due to pacing and far too sterotypical characters, will just not hit many people's top 10s/20s. But I REALLY enjoy the combat. Its edge of your seat stuff, like attack on titan season 1.

I just finished ep 11. This show is awesome. Don't think it breaks in top my top 10 but it was still great. As a pseudo slice of life anime, definitely one of the best and most inventive. If they expand the character universe and lore, it can be a winner. Only thing holding it back really is the inconsistent pacing. One thing I LOVE about this anime is I feel like I'm watching GOT. I'm genuinely scared every single swing because I know it could be the end for any character.

I watched half the first episode and its atmosphere and tension is fucking incredible. I can understand why its so divisive but for me, its much more on the scale of real brutal fantasy which I love. I mean you genuinely actually feel emotion when you see those goblins.

So, back when I was around 10 or 11, the concept of XYZ monsters was still fresh from the oven and people (especially me) either didn't understand them entirely or studied everything they could find on the topic. I, however, only understood the game according to what I saw in the anime at the age. Keep in mind, I had a duel disk from the 2000s version of YGO and I had no clue what an extra deck was, so at my first tournament at a comic con, I had many issues, most put on this list: 1. Did not understand tribute summoning, tried to summon Photon Caesar (Lv8) on my first turn 2. Didn't understand LP rules and set my DD pedometer to 9990 with no clue what I'm doing 3. Put Synchros and XYZ monsters in my main deck. No one said a word. 4. Stacked my deck with banned cards 5. Misunderstood XYZ monsters entirely. To clarify, I didn't know I had to detach materials and I thought all Xyz monsters couldn't be harmed by non-Xyz monsters. 6. The anime refused to explain Duel Disk anatomy, and since I didn't understand the playing mat, I had to rely on 4kids in regards to where I should put a spell or facedown. 7. Ruined many abusable cards because I packed over 80 cards into the deck slot, including my Hundred Eyes. 8. Overdramatically announced everything I did. 9. Ignored card effects that could have let me win in the end, I'm pretty sure the guy quit because I didn't understand the rules at all.
