  1. Deck Types

Sorry don't know if this is better posted in deck discussion or not.  I have been away from the game for the better part of 5 years but am craving some good TCG play and am wondering if someone could give me the quick rundown of what the tier one decks are now with maybe a good place to get decklists and feature matches.  I'm somewhat considering reentering the game as no new good TCG has been created to replace it and I have more time on my hands than I expected to.  Additionally, I left the game because the game had become so fast-paced and monotyped that I felt it had lost its old charm.  Is this still a game you win in three turns or has that gotten better too?  Thanks for any replies.
  2. Box Tourn CRMS

    paki > pavilion obv
  3. Jeremy Maclin suffers leg injury.

Not a big deal. It was just a minor injury and he still practiced through it displaying some good competitiveness. He's still the consensus #2 receiver.
  4. You guise like NFL offseason talk?

Feel free to name me one team that would want the first overall pick and what they would give up to realistically get it. In the current economy no one wants to gamble on paying as much as you have to pay to the first player chosen in the draft. Also, there is no true #1 overall talent in this draft so the pick loses trade value and becomes much harder to dump. It is VERY hard to trade away the #1 pick given those circumstances.

Most impressive Combine performances so far: Kenny Britt, Darrius Heyward-Bey (though he will still be a bust), and Jason Smith. Also, I have a mock draft article on another forum so lmk what you guys think if that's what you're into. 2009 NFL Mock Draft (1 Round)
  6. Don't know where to go from here.

    that said, 3 bth ftw?
  7. Don't know where to go from here.

nice anish... i count three cards total that have any duplicates... these decks (1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1 decks =P) can be very effective if a consistent theme emerges from playtesting but they are very hard to build... lmk how it works
  8. MZAAZM Rockets

this deck obviously pwns T.A.D.P.O.L.E. control haha
  9. Eradicator FTK

Why would I use Plasma over Dread? Just adds more cards that potentially get hit by CCV. Reasoning sucks cus they'll just call lv4 everytime if they know what im playing and gate sucks because the only time I'm summoning is if its poc and im winning that turn. Why would you care at all about CCV? You're making an OTK so your deck will be moving incredibly fast. Odds are you won't see CCV too many times.

I'd rate it but that format is ridiculously hard to read on an LCD laptop screen. So um... Fixes: +40 cards

I would love to know specifically what you think could be improved. The deck has already destroyed twilight and glads consistently and though it has slight issues against a well-built monarch deck the side compensates for it. That's why the title says supposed tier 1 not tier 1.

I said I was hesitant not completely refusing. Banisher, Rai-Oh, and Solemn all made sense at 3 whereas Book of Moon, Shrink, Bottomless Trap Hole, and even Royal Oppression (a card my teammate Zaiem is likely plotting to kill me for not running 3 as we speak) were left at 2 though the side deck (which will not be posted so don't ask) compensates nicely for any potential holes in certain matchups. I meant... Rai-oh w/ Banisher out is like Gemini Elf. Run one or the other. I'll go for Banisher and lose one Pot. 2 Oppresions feels ok. Good Luck with this. That is true but monsters don't hang around too long in this deck. In the few duels I have played with it so far that situation has never arised since I have a fairly constant flow of monsters with my Gadgets. I have considered dropping an Avy though and it brings up the one concern I have with this deck. The deck has a comparatively high chance of drawing a dead opening hand so dropping the Avy may make sense. I'm currently testing the two Pots to see how they do but I am more than open to eventually removing one or even both if I feel it is necessary.

i honestly didn't see the deck but the crackhead in that video is hilarious.
  15. Yes for once in his life Zaiem is right. It would at least make sense to check it out... I mean it couldn't hurt. And STD tests are painless enough. I mean what could possibly be painful about a Q-tip going up your urethra? Actually, I'm not good at this pep talk thing so I'm gonna back out now =P Seriously though, go to the doctor but you are probably fine.
