1. Really cause I posted them in my sig you fucking dumb ass. I'm not insecure about anything. You people are absolutely fucking retarded. Always have been, and always will be I suppose.
 2. Ok. So all this topic is proving is we're going to do nothing about gun control because idiots across the whole united states think there are practical uses for "advanced firearm technology" aka automatic and semi-automatic weapons. As a result, things like the incident that happened in Colorado will continue to happen and be brushed off because they are extreme cases. So any sociopathic motherfucker that wants to get revenge on the world regardless of what his reasons are can go obtain weapons and ammuniton that are capable of doing absolutely horrific things. You all can have fun getting shot up at the movies because you all don't choose to do something about things like this happening. Doesn't really matter to me since I have military training to react to situations like the one that occured which gives me an advantage if something like that ever does happen to me.
 3.
If you have ever compared firing a bolt action rifle to a semi automatic one you will see the point. A bolt action really hurts your shoulder, a semi-auto gets part of the recoil sent through the cycling mechanism which effectively acts as a break. And if you get rid of semi-automatic pistols, you realise you have just banned every pistol that is not a revolver? Lol you just sent firearms technology back to the 19th century.
So what you're saying is you can't ban semi-automatic weapons because shooting a bolt action rifle has more kick to it? That's an obvious justification for stopping the potential of some deranged guy going into a movie theatre with a semi-automatic weapon and killing and injuring almost 80 people. Civilians do not need ANY kind of firearms technology and that's exactly my point. You have no practical use for these type of weapons and if it's going to save innocent lives by putting a ban on them, then why not do it? I'm sorry we would be stopping you from owning "cool guns" to save lives. Forgive me for even putting forward that notion. Edit: You know I've lived in Okinawa, Japan for almost 2 years now, and you know what the laws concerning weapon possession are here? You aren't allowed to own ANY kind of gun outside of their military. It's even illegal over here to sharpen knives and swords. The crime rate over here as a result is phenominal.
 4.

There should be a ban on the purchase of automatic weapons period. There's absolutely no reason why they should be available to civilians because there will never be a reason why civilians would EVER need them. There should also be a lot tighter laws concerning buying ammunition. The guy legally bought over 6000 rounds for his weapons just 60 days prior to the shooting. That's absolutely rediculous and regarding that fact, we're lucky he only killed and injured the number of people he did because he had the potential to kill thousands. It is a valid point that you can't stop the people that already own these firearms from possessing them. But you can limit the amount of ammunition they can buy and make it impossible for future people to buy these kind of weapons legally with tighter gun control laws. But this type of action is going to be an uphill battle considering the NRA and other gun associations spend massive amounts of money when it comes to presidential campaigns to lobby candidates to be in favor of more lax gun control laws.
The automatic weapons issue is complicated. Firstly the sale of fully automatic shit is more or less completely banned in the US I believe. Second, you can't just remove every single last semi-automatic gun in America for obvious reasons, most guns are semi-automatic for practical reasons. Dumping the 25 bullet clip pistols would be the best step you could take to cutting this stuff down as it's the concealable weapon of choice for these massacres. God first person shooters have been an education. Plus limiting ammo will never work, it would be too hard to just stock up on such a commodity. The 6000 bullets figure may be correct, but it's just sensational journalism in that it's irrelevant to the actual crime taking place.
Why couldn't you ban semi-automatic weapons? What is a PRACTICAL reason to own a semi-automatic weapon? Civilians do not ever need to own them. Now for police officers and people that work for national defense of the country it's practical. I'm in the Army, I can obviously see the practicallity of using them for national defense, but there is no practical reason a civilian should own these type of guns and you know it.

 6.
And it's a great time to be picking up stuff for Modern.
lol Tis true^ Do they ever do Modern format in big events? I was wondering if it is worth playing... seems like it's more of something you'd do with your friends.
 7.

-_- I knew this would cause too much drama. I just wanted to talk about the good old days... cause like many of you pointed out they don't exist anymore. But an innocent thread turns into faggotry like always. Yay DGZ.
Except there's no drama, people are just wondering why the fuck you would post such a pointless, tryhard thread. If anything, the fact that you created this topic, are obsessively talking about drama, and have your team name in a big, colory font in your sig suggests to me that you're trying to stir something up.
Yea... apparently I'm a tryhard. For what I don't know, but it's been established that I am, in fact, a tryhard. -_- You know what makes your comment even funnier and more irrelevant is the fact that the team in my sig is a fucking MAGIC THE GATHERING team I created IRL. I don't know why so many people have a problem with me or this thread. I didn't do anything to any of you.
 8. Yeah I agree with FU, ETC, Broken and o3. Most recent notables I would have to say Starless and Undisputed were pretty good. Two more I can think of are Wavelength and Broken Helix.
 9.
the only reason those teams were deemed as the best was because they quite literally hoarded the better players and formed cliques. plenty of other good players were around but they would be scattered on other teams and usually were a "one of" on said team. yeah the game has gone to shit and the players nowadays most likely would have been horrendous back then since it wasnt autopilot but once i read his sig it is obvious what his intentions were when starting this thread. no one should care
btw my sig has nothing to with this thread... My intention wasn't even to gloat at all about anything I've done. I know that I wasn't one of the best players to play YGO. I've done SOME notable things, but I've never taken the game seriously enough to care that much. And if it bothers you that much I'll take it off.

 11.
congrats on being a gigantic faggot. goddamn
Ok then? Idk why you would get butthurt over a topic like this... I played this game since 2003 and have retired. I've seen countless teams that are really good. I can't reminisce on the past with some of the other people on here about some of the history of this game? This isn't a fucking dick sucking topic... this is giving props to teams that deserve it topic. I really don't understand your anger quite honestly.
 12. Well when you guys think of the best online teams, what do you guys think of? That's pretty much what I'm asking.
 13. For those of you who have been around as long as I have you all realize that some amazing times in the game's history have come to pass and this site was the primer grounds for most of the action of some of the best online/IRL duelists ever. Generally, in my opinion though, the games best days have come to pass and the old days of YGO don't seem to be coming back anytime soon. And when I think of some of the best players I've ever played against I have to say that they were old school players. Well the main point of this topic is I want to know what online team was the greatest of all time. Generally 3 of them always pop out in my head when I think of the best, but I don't want to over look anybody or discredit them either. My top 3 are Ignition, Alpha Omega and Genesis. What do you guys think?
 14. Yep... alls I have to say is if they do a rematch like Bradley wants, I hope Paquiao knocks him out this time.
 15. See I don't really know how the flow of this metagame works when it comes to format bans yet, but I say it woud be completely gay to ban SCM or Delver right now. Let it dominate for a little while. The format will change with the release of the new core set. Then 3 months after that, rotation happens. Now if it continues to be a problem in the new format, then I would ban something to cripple the deck. But other than that, I don't see banning anything necessary. That's my opinion though.
