  1. Sky Striker - Deck Discussion

I knew about the combo but I forgot Raye's effect was specifically for the Extra Monster Zone, so that's just me being stupid. I've always just done it by habit. My bad.
  2. Sky Striker - Deck Discussion

Unless I'm missing something, 2 Drones + a discard make Borrelsword + Hayate, provided you play 2 Mermaid and Akashic Magician in your Extra Deck and Iblee in your Main Deck. Drones -> Kagari -> add back Drones -> make Knightmare Phoenix/Cerberus Phoenix/Cerberus -> Mermaid -> Mermaid eff to summon Iblee Iblee -> 2nd Mermaid, summon Iblee to your opponent's field next to an Extra Monster Zone both Mermaids -> Akashic Magician -> Akashic Magician eff to add Iblee to hand Normal Summon Iblee -> summon any of the Link monsters in the Graveyard Iblee + Akashic + Knightmare Link monster -> Borrelsword Activate 2nd Drones -> Hayate This seems right and I don't think there's another way without using something like Skyblaster. I know it limits your Extra Deck as well, so I don't know if it would be worth it.
  3. Sky Striker - Deck Discussion

It's released in Dark Saviors on May 25th in the TCG.
  4. When's YGO? Feb 9-11

I'll be at the South Park Township Regionals on Sunday.
  5. November 6th, 2017 Yugioh Forbidden & Limited List

Just a heads up, Jim stated on the ARG Circuit Series Facebook page that this weekend will use the new F/L list.
  6. SPYRAL - Deck Discussion

Another card that may be viable against Evenly Matched would be Artifact Lancea. Lancea can also prevent your opponent from summoning Sleeper in the mirror (although you will likely have to do it pre-emptively). You can also side an Artifact engine (since Scythe is pretty good in the mirror) and that will also give you access to Lancea through Sanctum.

Gladiator Beast AndabataeDARK/Beast-Warrior/Fusion/EffectLevel 81000 ATK / 2400 DEF "Gladiator Beast Augustus" + 2 "Gladiator Beast" monstersMust first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards you control into the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization".) If Summoned this way: You can Special Summon 1 Level 7 or lower "Gladiator Beast" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card battled: You can return it to the Extra Deck; Special Summon 2 "Gladiator Beast" monsters from your Deck. Gladiator Beast Noxius DARK/Beast-Warrior/Effect Level 5 0 ATK / 1000 DEF When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, change the attack target to this card and perform damage calculation, also this card cannot be destroyed by that battle. If this card is Special Summoned by a "Gladiator Beast" monster's effect: You can send 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card battled: You can shuffle this card into the Deck; Special Summon 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster from your Deck, except "Gladiator Beast Noxius". The other Fusion seems pretty mediocre due to having to use GB Augustus. Noxius can set up Gyzarus easily but battle activation cards (especially during direct attacks), aren't that great.

So the new GB monsters (this card, GB Noxius, and GB Andabatae) are all almost 100% likely to be in Battle of Legend: Light's Revenge, which would be released the day before the NA WCQ and pre-Link rules. idk how good this deck would be in the June 2017 format but the option could be there.
  9. You're right, my bad. I misread the question completely. And completely forgot about the last effect.
  10. There wouldn't be an interaction between Magical Meltdown and Artifact Scythe in this scenario. Based off your scenario (assuming no other chain links), the chain would be: CL1: Invocation CL2: Artifact Sanctum Sanctum would resolve, summoning Artifact Scythe. Then Invocation would resolve, summoning the monster you chose to Fusion Summon. Artifact Scythe would then activate on a separate chain, as it has now been successfully Special Summoned. ------------ Also, Magical Meltdown only prevents negation of cards that would include a Fusion Summon. Cards that prevent Fusion Monsters to be summoned (such as Dimensional Barrier), would not be affected by Magical Meltdown. EDIT: Crossed-out part incorrect, misread the question as well so this comment is pretty irrelevant.
  11. YCS Prague 2017

iirc, there was one in Top 32. I believe it was Windwitch Invoked Kaiju. It might be labeled under 'Other' in that chart. EDIT: Found the deck profile. It's in the spoiler below.
  12. Link Summon Awareness Thread

Quick fixes (someone else confirm to be certain): 1. From what I read in the initial articles explaining the zones, Extra Monster Zones are not chosen at the start of the Duel. The first player to perform a Summon that requires the Extra Monster Zones chooses the Extra Monster Zone to place their monster. Then the other Extra Monster Zone belongs to the other player. idk what happens if both of the Extra Monster Zones then become empty though (I'd assume they would be up for grabs for either player). 2. When using a Link monster for a Link Summon, the monster counts toward the number of materials based on it's LINK number. For example: Link Spider cannot be used alongside one Effect Monster to Link Summon Decode Talker. You have met the requirements to Link Summon Decode Talker based on the number of monsters used but you haven't used monsters w/ a LINK number of 3. EDIT: Disregard the second point. I saw you mentioned it at the early part of the article but I was looking at another.
  13. Opt in/Opt Out Thread

    Opt-In: Civil Discourse & Unchained
  14. To follow up on this, most (if not all) of the Pendulum decks involve Majespecters in some shape. There also looks to be a Burning Abyss deck in there as well.
  15. Blanking on names but I believe it was the 2015 Worlds winner vs 2016 European WCQ winner.
