2. "I have this anecdote, and even though it's not actually representative of anything, or sheds any light on any sort of facts whatsoever, I'm going to share it here and act like it proves some sort of point." This thread is fucking stupid, and there should honestly be some kind of low investment content restrictions for this forum, especially for political / debate discussions. I vaguely remember the debate forum having it, but maybe I'm just thinking of the pinned rules thread currently in this forum.
3. Really plays hard into the "Trump's a puppet of Russia" narrative. More ammo for the Dems I suppose.
4. Sent $5.01. Hope this site never dies.
5. Thought Dark Comedy and A Special Episode were quite good, so I thought I'd give this a listen. I've liked it quite a bit. Also really enjoyed the feature by Aesop Rock on track 2 (even though a lyric or two of Aes' felt kind of stale). I'm a bit new to rap / hip hop, but I feel like I've been heading in the right direction the last year.
6. I really appreciate Allen's video seminar that he did. For a while now, I haven't had that much time to focus on the game so shifting from what the game was in early 2014 to what it actually is now has been difficult. Even though I've never really seen success at major events, I've found that recently my performance has been slipping even on a local level. That's in part due to the time that I've been able to invest in the game, partly because of a bias towards pet decks and partly because I haven't been able to understand what it is about my approach to the game that has been bad. This video really feels like it brought me up to speed about how I should be approaching the game, building decks for it and even how I should be evaluating goldfish results.   I'm not sure what context Allen's video has in relation to the podcast, but I feel like a bar for the podcast has been set. For the first time in a while, I'm pretty excited for the yu-gi-oh content that this site has to offer.
7. To be fair to Konami, WotC has a similar policy in regards to various fan submissions, but that seems like it usually only applies to create-a-cards since that's when Rosewater usually refers to that policy. Seems like it might just be a generic automated response from Konami due to other people flooding that address with fan shit. Which does change the question to how are people supposed to actually leave feedback if a robot is the only thing reading the emails.
8. Living in Michigan is like a beer gold mine or something.   My favorite right now would be New Holland's Dragon's Milk stout, very thick and chocolaty. I also really enjoy Dirty Bastard by Founders. Dirty Bastard is a scotch ale, but it's also thick and chocolaty. Pretty much the thick stuff is what I like.   Two Hearted ale getting listed a lot is surprising tbh. I think Bell's Oberon (Wheat Ale) is much more popular around here, which is a nice summer drink since it's light and has a hint of citrus to it. It's like a holiday whenever Oberon season starts around here.
9. I don't post that much, at all really, but the lack of the rep system did get me thinking more about the posts I was reading, I suppose. When reading, I couldn't just keep scrolling past the red posts because there weren't any. Not saying I'm not glad to see it back, it doesn't really affect me at all, but if there was a takeaway from this experiment, it would be that I should be focusing on why some ideas and posts are bad instead of just scrolling past them. Reps a good thing imo, but the perspective was also valuable, at least to me.
10. Ended up buying this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SpellGround-Khalsa-Brain-Games-Ultimate-Combat-Tatami-Playmat-NEW-MINT-/191636041838?nma=true&si=9CHFESIubBZvwMiDBnIvweqSubc%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557       Don't know if anyone has any other information on it other than what I could find? Specifically if any one else has one and if it seems legit? The pictures  and past feedback made it seem legit, considering the mat seems to made for the Ultimate Combat trading card game in the 90s and the KB website mentions that the Tatami mats were some of their earlier mats. What also helped me make the decision because the guy had other martial arts items in his previously sold stuff (so either he is a fan or got a storage unit  someone that was a fan). The guy has been selling a few of these mats over the last year at around the same price, so I don't really think it's worth much more than I payed for it. I was just curious.
11. Roby and Chase both go to the same locals. I know they both worked very hard to get there so I have mad respect for them. I'm glad at least one of them gets T4 but having to play each other is rough. So I hope one of them wins (the whole thing of course).
12. Midrange Hunter and Midrange Paladin mostly. Some Control Priest here and there. Most of my success has been with the hunter deck, but only by a small margin.

13.   Trump has a video series with the guy who pioneered the deck. https://youtu.be/cujf-O85-VcTh3rat is a hard working and pretty excellent player imo, so I think his insight is worth it.   I'm currently stuck at rank 13, and have been for about a week now. It's my first month of trying to ladder. I feel like I'm pretty poor at the game, and I recognize that I'm probably not good at making optimal plays...a big problem of mine though is that I have very little idea on what exactly it is that I'm doing wrong. I've been keeping track of my games with little notes attached, but it's hard to tell when exactly the turning point is or how to change it. It's very possible that it's just me being inexperienced with mulligans and what to expect in match-ups, but I'm trying to accelerate the process while playing as much as possible. I was wondering if anyone had any advice. I'm not expecting to be spoonfed, I just need a little bit of direction.
14. Longtime lurker here, something like 2 or so years of it. I'll probably just continue lurking unless I feel like I can contribute something, I just started to feel awkward after two years of lurking and not even saying hello. I'm a pretty big fan of this forum and the people on it. I generally read almost all of the yu-gi-oh, hearthstone and lifestyle stuff. I've felt like I've learned a lot over the last few years and would like to continue doing so. That's pretty much it.   I also apologize for breaking the "introduction within a month of registering" rule.
