  1. Goat Duel Review Thread

i made a vid but the audio got fucked up because my obs sux idk anyway, - game 1 and throughout you suck at reading what your opponet's set monsters are. you should have known that it was faith when he my bodied and played around it. at the very least put him on committing cards to out TER before he flips faith. - game 2 you probably could have won sooner if you meta'd your sangan it the wicked knight or whatever and then searched for sinister for your charity. it would have got your dark in the grave and drew you three new cards to most likely kill your opponent with since all he had was one book of moon - game 3 you got smash'd by tribe, nothing you could really do the duo wasn't actually that bad, you're at 2/3rds of a chance of hitting a relevant card and given the gamestate your opponent wasn't doing much with the other 2/3rds of his hand. was it optimal? probably not, but i don't think it was terrible

  4. Top 10 Tv shows.. again

After you finish watch Fire Walk With Me as well as it’s pretty much needed to get the full effect to The Return
  5. Top 10 Tv shows.. again

Literally everyone now has to watch Twin Peaks then watch the return, after that if the return is not your top show then you really have to justify yourself
  6. Flaws of Goat Format. What would you change about it?

you put the cards in your deck so you can draw them. novel concept imo
  7. A Brief History of Chaos Control

    1) the reason i max on sdm is because im memeing with dark magician and i want to pop my sdm for it as soon as possible. if my goal was to get the deck to a more competitive build, i would likely go 2-2. it's not really about having something to out an 18 or crash ak, it's about always having a monster to kill your opponent's non-tribute non-chaos monster 2 and 3) when i make decks like this the side deck is often just a pile of cards that i want to run mixed in with some side options. asura should absolutely be in the deck. 4) i probably sided it in once or twice 5) yes, but also idk why you are cutting prema / call in chaos to begin with. when they out your sorc you can just bring it back 6) mimic is cool, i wanted merchant because i don't really wanna draw dark magician obviously and merchant gets you to a spell / trap while also milling crappy sdm and swm to set up sorcs / bls
  8. A Brief History of Chaos Control

skilled white is a good light in exarion goats mainly because it's fat an makes eaxrion exceptionally weaker when they try and crash into it even if they don't use the meteor crush effect. i got the idea form losing to death aspect in the finals of an older dgz goat tournament. in pre-exa, it's basically a vanilla light that you want your opponent to out with something like a saku since it can't be beat by book or tsuk unless they have a a big monster for back-up. it's sotra the same idea as angel except you sacrifice floating ability with angel for a monster who can apply pressure by beating breaker. so you play the deck with skilled magicians as beaters that you want your opponent to out with removal spells and effects so you can follow-up with a sorc. Your deck is a zoo deck more than a goat deck. little secret, the skilled magician deck i sometimes play doesn't play buster blade because despite it's stats it's an earth monster. i want monster of the cards in my deck to be either light or dark, and it's also funnier to kill people with a vanilla like dark magician. here is the brew i've been using, it's not perfect and there are changes i wanna try out. if i took it more seriously i would likely cut the dark magician and the merchants for better cards. also the m / s / t ratio is garbage imo. should probably be 18 / 14 / 8

  10. SPYRAL - Discussion

posting this at work so I haven’t watched the video but have seen the list. It’s 1 double summon might be the fight number if you’re playing double summon at all

  12. SPYRAL - Discussion

I had a big thread explaining each card but it got deleted, so here is the half-assed version just for the sake of having a thread. I'm going to work on re-writing this, but I lost two hours of work today and I don't want to not have a thread up since this deck is going to be pretty important very soon. Thanks for understanding! S P Y R A L SPYRAL was a previous TCG exclusive theme based off of James Bond lore. The Deck revolves around spying on the top cards of your opponent's deck to generate advantage by searching for cards and summoning monsters. Like all modern decks, you are attempting to build a board in which your opponent can't break. If they don break it, you can simply go off again since you gained so much card advantage. DECK B R E A K D O W N Your goal turn one to summon SPYRAL Quick-Fix to search SPYRAL GEAR-Drone, then summon Drone and look at the top three cards of your opponent's deck. From there you can go into Spyral Double Helix ---> Double Helix allows you to get SPYRAL Master Plan from your deck ---> Master Plan leads to Resort ---> Which leads you to the boss monster, Sleeper ---> Your goal is to end with Sleeper equipped with Last Resort. Last Resort not only protects Sleeper, buy allows you target Sleeper for his own effect and not have Sleeper be destroyed due to Last Resort and destroying up to two cards your opponent controls at a quick effect. The deck is effective in summoning tons of Links and has a great chunk of support options that you can play around with. Here is an in-depth guide created by The Organization that explains the Double Helix combos better than i can via text: S A M P L E DECKLIST MONSTER CARDS (19): 3 SPYRAL GEAR – Drone 3 SPYRAL Quik-Fix 1 Maxx “C” 1 SPYRAL GEAR – Last Resort 3 SPYRAL Super Agent 1 SPYRAL Master Plan 1 SPYRAL Sleeper 3 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring 3 Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit 1 Destrudo the Lost Dragon’s Frisson SPELL CARDS (21): 1 Foolish Burial 3 Machine Duplication 1 Reinforcement of the Army 1 Soul Charge 3 Terraforming 1 One for One 3 Set Rotation 3 SPYRAL GEAR – Big Red 3 SPYRAL Resort 1 Oracle of Zefra 1 Dragon Ravine TRAP CARDS (2): 1 SPYRAL GEAR – Utility Wire 1 SPYRAL MISSION – Rescue EXTRA DECK (15): 1 Ancient Fairy Dragon 1 Black Rose Dragon 1 Decode Talker 3 SPYRAL Double Helix 3 Proxy Dragon 1 Ningirsu the World Chalice Warrior 2 Decode Talker 1 Borreload Dragon 2 Firewall Dragon
