  1. How is everyone dealing with Majesty's Fiend with this deck/side? I played a Burning Abyss player in Swiss and in the top cut at my locals last night, and game one I could always manage to take, but 2/3 when 3 Majesty's came in against me, it would completely stall me out if dropped early enough. I'm siding Chalice and I main BTS, but it wasn't enough ever to help re-swing momentum. Guess I'm just looking for extra ideas or thoughts on how to deal with him.
  2. Personally, I think gorilla is a waste of a normal summon right now, especially when you can main MST/gyokkou, and the Tensu plays are less than optimal in my opinion. I would try main-decking maxx c, as it helps with your worst match-ups (mermails/mythic rulers). The other thing that is often overlooked is that you will hardly ever summon 1 tiger king, let alone 2. Replace one with a Cairngorgon. Card is amazing, especially when you side in your floodgates.
  3. A buddy and I are going to be in the Orlando area in the next few weeks, and we're looking for some good sanctioned shops to stop by and play at. Any suggestions?
  4. I took a little spin off Jordano Ibrahim's list from ARGCS DC, to where it plays a bit more like HAT, with a great degree of success. It's very grindy, and kind of +1-ish, but I really like it. And it definitely uses the idea of the fists as an engine. 3 bear 1 wolfbark 2 fire hand 2 ice hand 3 myrmeleo 2 dionaea 2 cardcar 15 3 tenki 3 duality 3 MST 2 Lance 1 dichotomy 1 soul charge 13 1 acid trap hole 1 bottomless 2 trap hole nightmare 2 black horn 2 breakthrough skill 2 wiretap 1 compulsory 1 warning 1 torrential 13

Being able to play a card and make an immediate play is what helps this deck win. No Soul Charge/Burst Rebirth: when I first started playing this deck about a month ago, I was playing 3/2, and after each local or night of testing, I kept lowering the ratio until they got cut completely. Both are proactive cards, but the LP cost is steep for both, and Charge only becomes good if you can establish an "impenetrable" board from it. Might reconsider 1 Charge again at some point, but for now I don't miss it. Debris Dragon: kind of a personal "tech" choice for my local meta as there's a lot of Synchro Sylvan, karakuri geargia, and mythic rulers floating around, but having access to Orient and Scrap dragon to deal with "big" problems (Orea, Star Eater, Stardust) outside of battle really comes in handy. And it's not difficult to make the lvl 8s at all with 3 Ayers Rock. Been very clutch lately. Any thoughts or feedback is appreciated.
  6. Awesome! Thank you.
  7. While you control a face-up Spell Card(s), this card cannot be targeted for attacks. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this turn, this card can attack your opponent directly, but other monsters cannot attack. My question is if the first part of its effect is ruled like The Legendary Fisherman, or can your opponent just not declare an attack due to lack of targets? I know fisherman designates your opponent can attack directly, but I'm just curious. The Legendary Fisherman: While "Umi" is on the field, this card is unaffected by Spell effects and cannot be targeted for attacks, but does not prevent your opponent from attacking you directly.
  8. I'm wondering if you can clarify something as a "Tensu" summon while it's face-up and then declare your normal summon. That situation also applies.
  9. Posting from my phone and it went haywire. Full question is edited in.
  10. We've been having this discussion at my locals lately, and just looking for some clarification. Tensu reads that you can normal summon a beast-warrior type monster in addition to your normal summon for the turn. My question is if it is required that you perform your regular normal summon for Tensu to meet it's requirements, or if you can use the effect of Tensu before your normal summon for the turn. Even with the PSCT, it's still a bit confusing.
  11. You put 2 Pearls in the extra. Make one a dire wolf. Also if you're going to play 2 cardinal I still might consider the 1-of dragon in the main. If not I'd almost say go to 3 tiger king.
  12. I feel really silly for asking, but I feel like I'm missing the point. Why do I see so many lists maining 2 Zephyros when u can only use one zephy effect per duel?
  13. You best be there for this Joey.
  14. Right now the numbers look to be about 300ish expecting, but I wouldn't doubt it we see more for it at all.
  15. Full information in the link above. ARG is giving additional prize support for top 32 as well, including a box each to the top 4. Central location for the mid-west, so hope to see y'all there.
