1. Prosecution Vs Kye Baker & The Dickriders

got Urthor 2-0
2. I ask this kid how much he values his Brionac, he replies $60. This is when it’s only going for about $40 at the time. We haggle a bit on other cards and he eventually asks me how much I value my Brionac, I reply $60. He then goes on to tell me how Brionac is only worth $40, so I ask him how much for his again…he says $60
3. Victorian Super Series - 2nd place

Not properly as he lives in a different state
4. There’s a qualifier for this tournament every month and based on how many people enter and how well you do you’ll get a certain number of points. Played a fair few and got enough points to be one of the 6 people with 2 or more byes. Last year the event was called the 5k, meaning they gave out $5000 worth of prizes. Basically the event organiser dicked everybody over and handed out $2500 in credit as the only prizes for this year. You weren't even allowed to enter qualifiers with credit. Salt. Thursday afternoon I have my last exam and smash the fuck out of it. Head back home and sort out the list I wanted to play for Heroes as it was the deck I had decided to take. I play some games on dn against people who aren't terrible and feel pretty comfortable with the list. Friday morning I head into the city which is where the tournament is being held and get some testing in with my team. Sold a Big Eye for $105 as this guy was trying to dick over the person I was originally selling it to and just kept offering higher. Was testing against Rokman who was playing agents and I was opening either Drain or Cydra for his Venus every game and ended up going 4-1 I believe. Head home early to do shit with my family etc. Saturday our team heads into the store for testing and the LCQ’s; which were 8 players single elimination. Gareth is playing them to get his 2[sup]nd[/sup] bye as they give you points for winning. He pays for me to enter one so that he has higher odds of winning as I can scoop to him. I decide to play monster mash because the deck is rather fun; which is hard to come by this format. Round 1: Monster Mash vs Heroes Game 1: I open really sub-par as this deck is rather inconsistent and I lose after he Roads my Black Rose and then later flips a Skill Drain on me. Game 2: I drop 2 Gallis on him while holding 3 Birdman and win from there. Game 3: I sit on Fortress for a while and then win by hitting 2 lv 10’s off Gallis’s. Round 2: Monster Mash vs Dragunities Game 1: I open double Maxx “C” which just shuts him down and lets me draw into my combo pieces as I plus 1 off each of them. Game 2: I have the Maxx “C” for his power play again and manage to get up 3 cards. He draws to 2 cards in hand and activates ravine, pitches x card and I chain the sided in MST to win the game. Round 3: Scoop to Gareth as we were on opposite sides of the pool. Continue testing throughout the day and head back to Gareth’s with Jackson and Carl to continue testing for the night. I was playing Mirror Force over Compulsory to punish over extending as everyone just commits and you can just lose based on that. Jackson convinces me to switch back to Compulsory which is a good decision as it was my favourite card of the day. Figure out side decks based on what we think will be present. Start to write up lists at like 1 and then don’t try to go to sleep till 4; standard for events. Everyone knocks off but I can’t sleep so I just lie down and listen to some music until the alarm goes off at 8. We take showers, eat breakfast and catch a tram back into the city. Arrive at the venue at 10 as we were meant to start at 11; hand in our decklists and just sit down and talk until we begin. Carl and Rokman don’t have byes so Jackson, Gareth and I rail there games and scout to see who is playing what. Repeat for round 2 as we get see those who had 1 bye play. By the end of this round I’m feeling pretty pumped especially for having no sleep. The Actual Event~ Round 1: Bye 1-0 Round 2: Bye 2-0 Round 3: Heroes vs Water Game 1: I open really badly, something like 5 monsters and a prison. Manage to come back after a 30 minute game as he errored when he could’ve put game on the board. Game 2: Finish siding with 10 minutes left in the round, games plays out slowly and I win in time. 3-0 Round 4: Heroes vs Agent Game 1: He goes first and makes the Gachi from Venus. I Stratos and set a few backrow, he swings and I flip the drain which wins me the game from there on as I Bottomless his only Hyperion. Game 2: He otk’s me turn 2/3 Game 3: We both open pretty well and game goes on for a while. We end up in time and I’m on 600 to his 7600. I manage to get him down to 800 and would’ve sealed the game if he didn’t Top a monster. 3-1 Round 5: Heroes vs Chaos Agents (Cilmi) Get otk’d twice, can’t remember if I took a game in the match. 3-2 Round 6: Heroes vs Water Game 1: Open pretty badly for this match-up. Game goes slowly and I manage to make a game shot with Compulsory. Game 2: Otk’d Game 3: Both our openings were average and game proceeds to time. He can easily put enough damage on board to win the match, but I decide not to scoop in case he fucks it up, he does and scoops it up. 4-2 Standings go up and I’m in 9[sup]th[/sup] so I just need to win the last round to top. Get paired up with Jackson and we realise whoever wins will top while the other doesn't. Decide to split whatever the winner of our match gets from top cut. Round 7: Heroes vs Agent (Jackson) Game 1: He didn’t open a playable monster and I just beat him down to 23 with an Alius and then summon a Stratos for game. Game 2: Otk’d...again Game 3: He opens terrible again and I flip a storm for a 4 for 4 which he has to judgment and I drop a miracle later for game. 5-2 At the end of Swiss I finish 8[sup]th[/sup] as the 2[sup]nd[/sup] highest X-2 Top 8 is given a 20 minute break to get some food and what not as it’s nearly 6pm and everyone wanted one. Grab some Japanese cuisine and head back to the store for finals. Top 8: Heroes vs Wind-Up Sweet got paired with one of the two Wind-Up decks that topped. Game 1: I go first and set BTH and another trap. He makes Zenmaity and I Bottomless. Leads on to me drawing an Alius with a Spark in hand and I take a commanding position from there. Game 2: He opens really average and I open reasonably well. Game proceeds slowly and I should’ve committed a lot more to the board to push earlier. Game ends with me Compulsing his Zenmaines and attacking for game through his 2 face-up Factories. Top4: Heroes vs Agents (Guy from round 4) We decide to split top 4 for $500 each so no one is really taking it seriously. Game 1: Compulsory his Gachi when he swings with Venus and he makes some bad moves so I take the game. Game 2: He really doesn’t care so the game goes pretty quickly in my favour, being up by about 5 cards. Top2: Heroes vs Chaos Agents (Cilmi again) Neither of us are taking it seriously as previously stated which is a little disappointing as it’s Australia’s 3[sup]rd[/sup] biggest event of the year. Nearly included the option to mulligan in our game but decide not to. Game 1: He otk’s me after flopping Dark Hole and Heavy Storm. Game 2: Otk’s me for the 4[sup]th[/sup] time to take the tournament. So I lost 1 game without being otk’d in the entire day and got otk’d seven times for my other losses. Cool. But overall it was a reasonably good tournament. The players in top cut were fairly decent and they had standard rounds/top cut. Decklist: Monsters x10 3x Elemental Hero Neos Alius 3x Thunder King Rai-Oh 2x Cyber Dragon 1x Elemental hero Stratos 1x Honest Spells x14 3x Miracle Fusion 3x Gemini Spark 2x E-Emergency Call 2x Pot of Duality 1x Heavy Storm 1x Dark Hole 1x Monster Reborn 1x Reinforcement of the Army Traps x16 2x Torrential Tribute 2x Bottomless Trap Hole 2x Dimensional Prison 2x Compulsory Evacuation Device 2x Skill Drain 2x Hero Blast 2x Solemn Warning 1x Solemn Judgment 1x Starlight Road Extra Deck: 1x Stardust Dragon 1x Number c39:Utopia Ray 1x Number 39:Utopia 1x Heroic Champion Excalibur 1x Blade Armor Ninja 1x Steelswarm Roach 1x Abyss Dweller 1x Photon Papilloperative 1x Gagaga Cowboy 1x Maestroke the Symphony Djinn 1x Chimeratech Fortress Dragon 2x Elemental Hero the Shining 1x Elemental Hero Great Tornado 1x Elemental Hero Absolute Zero Side Deck: 2x Effect Veiler 2x Snowman Eater 1x Tsukuyomi 3x Mystical Space Typhoon 2x Soul Taker 2x Nobleman of Crossout 3x Soul Drain Deck profile – card choices etc Zenmaines not Maestroke for Cydra discussion - not on the ball If you like our content please subscribe, videos should be up every week. Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed.
5. Hey, just looking for some clarification. Say i Soul Exchange my opponent's Dolkka and he chains Forbidden Lance. Seeing as Forbidden Lance stops the monster being affected by other spell/traps will Soul Exchange work? Also if said opponent chains book of moon, i assume i can still tribute as Soul Exchange has already targeted and the targeted monster does not have to be face-up on the field? 6. Australian Nationals

The lone Red-Eyes is fine, personally i was always drawing them and found that the 2nd was dead unless you had opened Future Fusion. The Plague should have been in the side or the Tempest in the main. Dunno why i mained Plague when i was trying to make the deck more consistent. I would cut Plague to play 40 but i would definitely side it at premier events.
7. Australian Nationals

I decide that I am going to be taking Dragons to nationals about a month before the event. So then casually the week before nationals the guy I’m borrowing all my Lightsworn stuff from decides he is going to play Dragons as well; so I go searching around for all the stuff I need and manage to get everything par 2 Solar Recharge and 2 Royal Decree. Jackson manages to get me 2 Solar Recharges after I leave, so it seems I’ll be able to play it. I finish my last exam on Thursday so I have about a day and a half to prepare for nationals. I head into Good Games on Friday to try and pick up some Decrees and get some randy stuff for my friend Carl. I meet with Jackson there and we do some trading with the people from other states. Jackson and I head over to a different card shop to get some testing in with all the above par players. I test the mirror match for about an hour and decide to main Plague instead of siding it. Jackson and I head back to my house and Carl heads to mine as well. We test mainly Rabbit vs Dragon and then a few games of Rabbit vs Hero and then decide on our side deck based on what we think we will see. Both Jackson and I think it’s going to be roughly 60% Dragons and 30% Rabbits, so I end up siding 2 Victoria over 2 Maxx “C”. We get our decklists down an hour later than planned and head to bed. We talk about some funny shit for around an hour and then I try to get to sleep. Carl decides to play Ds and turns his sound up to full just to tilt me. I manage to get to sleep around 2:30 and we set our alarms for 7. Wake up on Saturday - Day 1 and have some Weet-Bix. Leave my house at 7:30 and catch the train to the venue. People are flipping shit because only 30 people who didn’t pre-register can enter. All these people are writing decklists and I wonder how un-prepared you can be to not have a solid list down. I find a friend who can lend me 2 Decrees and proceed to talk shit about everyone else with the other Melbourne players. The normal pre-premier event talk and pairings go up. Round 1: Me vs Rabbit Game 1: I sit down to face some guy with a structure deck mat, apparently he has the downs and thinks table 103 is table 3, (this guy makes top 8 btw). Anyways my real opponent shows up and after he flops a first turn Rabbit I know what I’m playing against. Game proceeds pretty fairly, which is surprising for this format. Pretty sure I lost this. Game 2: I legit open the stone cold nuts and proceed to drop multiple Lightpulsars to victory. Game 3: Game goes on for a while. My opp has 4 backrow a dead Laggia and a Dolkka with one material left. I draw into my 7[sup]th[/sup] card to make a 7 monster hand. I think stuff through for a few minutes and realise I can game through 2 Torrentials and a D-Prison. Summon Tour Guide, which he doesn’t negate and make a Leviathan. Can’t remember how this plays out, but I game through his 4 backrow, one of which was a torrential. Round 2: Me vs Wind-Up Game 1: I open 3-4 chaos monsters a Lyla and something else, proceed to summon the Lyla instead of passing and hope I mill like a god, (pretty sure I hit red eyes Lightpulsar and Darkflare =P). He starts off by making a Zenmaighty drops a shark and then proceeds to Mind Control my Lyla. He makes Utopia and then asks me if he can take it back, I say sure as I know he can do 8600 with the Utopia in attack, (3 Zenmaighty, Hunter and Utopia). He goes and makes a Maestroke in defense and ends with a board of hunter, 2 Zenmaighty and a Maestroke after tributing one Zenmaighty for Hunter. I proceed to drop a lot of shit and win in 2 turns. Game 2: One of the few games I opened future fusion all day, I proceed to do some crazy shenanigans with Darkflare and take this game pretty quickly. Props to this guy, made some pretty bad plays but was really nice. Round 3: Me vs Rabbit Game 1: He opens a Rabbit and a Macro to my 4 chaos monster hand. I lose this pretty quickly. Game 2: Plays out a little, he summons a Mole and I forced to Veiler to maintain board presence. I have to Sorc the Mole or risk losing to a Rabbit/Tour guide play. A couple of turns pass and he then tops a Tour Guide into Leviair, Utopia to attack over my lone Darkflare. I lose this when I realise he has the Mole removed and I can’t really do much. I summon a Lightpulsar and swing into his Utopia which he negates. He then just pulls back Mole and swings for game. Round 4: Me vs Rabbit Game 1: This game is really straightforward I open crazy stuff and we manage to get to a simplified game state. I top like a G and win from there. Game 2: Pretty much the same as game 1, I manage to hold cards and then after some correct reads just make a big push for game which he can’t stop. Round 5: Me vs Final Countdown Game 1: I open 2 MST, Such a G for this match up. I proceed to Future fusion otk him in my 2[sup]nd[/sup] turn since he doesn’t have a Fader or Scarecrow and has already payed 2000 for Countdown. Game 2: I pass turns with 2 Lylas trying to mill off my Plague. I end up milling it with 3 cards left in deck. Top deck for the Plague and make the side-decked Tempest and ditch 5 cards for game. Round 6: Me vs Heroes without Skill Drain Game 1: We trade cards for a while and I end up dropping BLS into the obvious BTH and then dropping Darkflare combos for game. Game 2: I open pretty badly. I see a Veiler in my hand and realise that I sided like a spastic. He summons the Stratos so In the end it isn’t to bad. He proceeds to gain to much card advantage and takes the game. Game 3: I open MST’s, a future Fusion and a Lyla and proceed to win from there. He draws pretty badly throughout the game so I pretty much attacked into set Super Poly’s when he has no heroes. Round 7: Me vs GB’s Game 1: He does some nutty Gyzarus stuff and has set Chariots. I play like a donk so he proceeds to win. Game 2: Heads into time and I manage to make a brio under his macro and swing for 2 turns to force a draw. I finish 14[sup]th[/sup] after Swiss at 5-1-1 Proceed to talk to Jackson and Carl and decide that there is no point going to someone’s house as we had already tested the Dragon vs Rabbit math-up extensively and I wanted to get at least 8 hours sleep. Carl comes back to my house to pick up some stuff he left behind and we stop by a super market and I drink a 2l Big M out of the carton like a proper Australian. I spend an hour checking out Gk’s as I was really scared about playing the one Gk player who topped. Necrovalley + Malefic Stardust + protection = not good I get up at 7 get ready and head off to the venue. After arriving I talk to some people and hand in my deck to get deck checked before we start. Top 32: Me vs Rabbit I talk to Rokman and he says the guy I am playing is playing GB’s Game 1: He summons a Rabbit and I’m like what? I lose this in literally 2 minutes. He opens Macro and Laggia + a few backrow to my now dead hand. Game 2: Can’t really remember what happened. I think I may have summoned a bunch of monsters in one turn to win. Game 3: Really good game to begin with. Becomes extremely simplified and I top some pretty good stuff. I suppose that’s Yu-Gi-Oh but I feel bad sacking someone so badly. Top 16: Me vs Wind-Up Game 1: He loops me turn 1. Enough said. Game 2: He opens pretty average and I manage to have the clutch Veiler to stop any play he has. Proceed to drop heaps of stuff after a few turns and take the game. Game 3: He loops me and ends with a Roach + Zenmaines, (I think these are different turns). I top Card Trooper which goes through like a G but draw a dead future Fusion off it. He tops into Avarice and draws a Rat off it. I was thoroughly outplayed so it feels pretty salty. My goal was to top so I’m happy with the overall result. Jackson beats Rokman to seal the nationals so we are pretty happy. List: 3 Tour Guide From the Underworld 3 LightPulsar Dragon 3 Effect Veiler 3 Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress 3 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter 2 Darkflare Dragon 2 Eclipse Wyvern 2 Chaos Sorcerer 2 Card Trooper 1 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon 1 Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning 1 Dark Armed Dragon 1 Gorz the Emissary of Darkness 1 Sangan 1 Plaguespreader Zombie 3 Mystical Space Typhoon 3 Solar Recharge 1 Charge of the Light Brigade 1 Allure of Darkness 1 Monster Reborn 1 Dark Hole 1 Heavy Storm 1 Future Fusion Extra Deck: 1 Five-Headed Dragon 1 Scrap Dragon 1 Black Rose Dragon 1 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier 1 Ally of Justice Catastor 1 Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger 1 Photon Strike Bounzer 1 Inzektor Exa-Beetle 1 Maestroke the Symphony Djinn 1 Wind-Up Zenmaines 1 Number 17: Leviathan Dragon 1 Leviair the Sea Dragon 1 Number 20: Giga-Brilliant 1 Muzurhythm the String Djinn 1 Temtempo the Percussion Djinn Side Deck: 2 Koa’ki Meiru Drago 2 Victoria 1 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon 1 Prime Material Dragon 3 Soul Taker 3 Royal Decree 2 Dust Tornado 1 Tempest Magician Props: Melbourne top 2 Jackson winning and Rokman coming 2nd Kye Baker putting straws into everyone’s hoodies during the top 2 play-off Jackson making me side/main Plague and Tempest Top 16 Side fringes Slops: Carl scrubbing Being like one out of 5 people In the room who had taken a shower Taking out Maxx “C” for Victoria Siding stuff specifically for the Dragon match-up which I never came up against. Random Dragon player stacking everyone and making top 4 Thanks for reading
8. $5K Qualifier Top 4

No probs man.
9. $5K Qualifier Top 4

@wocram - A summonable vanilla that represents icarus and delta crow is very good and is another target for blizzard, as well as being able to make utopia with a single bora, it can search blizzard / kalut / gale with whirlwind. @AnTiMeTa – It is G2; I assume you board in TKs among other things against BW do you not? I agree the hand would have been amazing if he didn’t open TK to my 0 monster hand. Not only that but to get rid of the opposing TK I have to draw into Mind, Hole or a TK and clash with his, to not get raped every turn, and clashing TKs is possibly the best outcome for the plant player, not only is Icarus / Delta not live but they have to deal with one less TK.
10. $5K Qualifier Top 4

So from Sunday to Tuesday my friend Carl and I were testing Plant.dek without any Tour Guide because we are poor and don’t want to spend 300 dollars in a terrible format so close to the banlist. Thing is mad explosive and majority doesn’t know how to hold Warnings etc. so it was a decent idea. Tuesday night Kye gave Carl his BW.dek list and claims it is the stones so Carl playtests it and says it is a great idea because it screws over bad people and average people due to triple Delta Crow being the best card. I am reluctant because I have 0 playtesting experience with it and Carl plays much more theory based than I do. On Friday we head to GoodGames in the city to try and find TKs because according to Kye it is absolutely necessary to run 3; Carl runs around trying to find some and luckily someone has a set of Golds and his instantly traded away his double Veiler + $20, I think it is a bad trade but he doesn’t care. We leave after I sell multiple commons to the store for $10 after 20 mins of being there unlike everyone else who just stays there for no fucking reason, and proceed to my house. We order pasta and pizza for dinner, which was average. We play Amnesia: the Dark Descent for like 20 mins but we did not want to finish this one custom story because it was too spacious and such, we were too scared shitless to run into Mr. Bojangles. We playtest while Carl plays standard Plants and I play BWs and after like 10 games decide it is a very good idea to run this BW list. We go to bed at 2am and Carl wakes up at 7am because he’s weird and has weird mannerisms and such. I get up two hours later and we got ready and left. I had a shower unlike 99% of the people there. We get to GG and it is practically empty and about 1 minute left until registration closes 20+ people just appear out of nowhere. Monsters: 19 X3 Blackwing – Blizzard the Far North X3 Blackwing – Bora the Spear X3 Blackwing – Shura the Blue Flame X3 Thunder King Rai-Oh X2 Maxx “C” X1 Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind X1 Blackwing – Kalut the Moon Shadow X1 Blackwing – Vayu the Emblem of Honor X1 Blackwing – Zephyros the Elite X1 Dark Armed Dragon Spells: 11 x3 Pot of Duality x2 Mystical Space Typhoon x1 Allure of Darkness x1 Black Whirlwind x1 Book of Moon x1 Dark Hole x1 Mind Control x1 Monster Reborn Traps: 10 x3 Delta Crow – Anti Reverse x2 Icarus Attack x2 Solemn Warning x1 Mirror Force x1 Royal Oppression x1 Solemn Judgment Extra: 15 x2 Number 39: Utopia x1 Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier x1 Stardust Dragon x1 Scrap Dragon x1 Dark End Dragon x1 Blackwing – Silverwind the Ascendant x1 Scrap Archfiend x1 Blackwing – Armor Master x1 Black Rose Dragon x1 Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth x1 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier x1 Blackwing Armed Wing x1 T.G. Hyper Librarian x1 Ally of Justice Catastor Side: 15 x3 Breaker the Magical Warrior x3 Dimensional Prison x2 D.D. Crow x2 Puppet Plant x2 Twister x2 Gozen Match x1 Trap Stun Credits to Kye Baker for the list, I didn’t have a second Zephyros over the Mind Control and optimal side cards such as Rivalry of Warlords, so we just threw in random cards because I couldn’t find Dust Tornados and threw in Twister and Trap Stun at the last second because there was a Blackwing deck and a T.G. deck nearby. RD: 1 - Random Kid (Samurai) G1: I opened average; I summon TK, set Warning and Delta Crow. He starts by activating Lightning Vortex pitching Elder then sets Kagemusha. Next turn I attack into with a Bora and set the second warning. He tries to DEST with Elder but can’t, he summons Kageki, makes Shien, I Warning, he activates Raigeki Break pitching Mizuho, hitting Bora then proceeds to flip double DEST then attempts to makes a Trish, I warning. Win the game from there as I top double MST to his single backrow on the next two turns like a boss. G2: Opens United, Kageki, SSS, draws then activates another united, makes Shien and draws one, he sets two and passes. I set three and pass, he summons Mizuho and attacks. I misplay summon Shura, and pass, he draws activates Gateway and pass, I Puppet Plant his Shien and rape his Mizuho get Vayu and push for damage, EP flipping Icarus on Vayu targeting Gateway and Shien proceed to rape with Warning from there. 1-0 RD: 2 - Random Asian (Disaster Dragon) G1: EP Dust on my bluff with no follow up, do I need to explain more? Okay, I summon Bora and keep pushing him since he hasn’t flipped a single backrow for three turns straight. G2: He activates Duality into Drago and sets two while revealing another Drago in EP. I screw up around mid-game when I finally clear Drago off field and not drop Brionac to prevent his second Drago from raping my triple opened Blizzard (I should have sided 1-2 out). I summon Bora and set Delta Crow, bluffing Icarus to make him do bad plays I have essentially lost the game at this point. He attacks I Delta his double backrow and he chains Burst Breath tributing his third Drago. I am relieved; I proceed to use triple Blizzard in a row to seal the game. 2-0 RD: 3 - David Low (Tour Guide Plants) I face one of Kye’s friends and he’s the only good player I play against all day. G1: He goes Tour Guide into Sangan, set one backrow. I activate MST and summons Shura over Tour Guide and SS Vayu in defence and set Icarus and Delta Crow. He sets 2 I flip Delta Crow. I summon TK on my turn and proceed to win after drawing the oppression G2: It went back and forth and a very optimal Trish play sets me back too far can’t come back. G3: Also goes back and forth a bit and he ends with Catastor and Tengu, one in hand and live Spore in his grave. I go Shura attack over Tengu, SS Vayu, MP2 I SS Bora and make Trish to seal the game. 3-0 RD: 4 - Some Dude (Gladiator Beast without Horn of the Phantom Beast) G1: I open Kalut, Oppression, Delta Crow, Book, MST, Solemn; I summon, set five. He summons Darius and attacks (I have no idea why he would run into five backrow), I Book, he sets 3 in MP2 and I EP Delta Crow and he’s down way too much, he manages to attack over the Kalut next turn because I drew 0 monsters but I oppression and that’s game. G2: He wins with Gyzarus plays and I didn’t see Warning or TK or Maxx “C”. G3: Oppression just seals him down and TK is too strong, he can’t beat over. 4-0 RD: 5 Tim Chan (ChaosWings) Decent player, he is selling all his cards and is pretty much is playing to troll people, we dice roll for win as it is the last round, I roll one and he rolls 2 GG. I sell super Siroccos to the store for 20 bucks as they are terrible and impossible to move in AUS. Top 8 – Asian Kid (Gladiator Beast, a terrible build like I don’t even…) G1: He draws no defensive cards and I beat over everything with Shura and TK after flipping oppression. G2: He contacts for Gyzarus MP2 after attacking the Vayu and tagging (which is obviously a misplay from me for even bringing out the Vayu), targeting my Shura and Delta Crow. I chain to destroy his Warning and X card. I Duality into Prison, we exchanged cards for three consecutive turns because he’s scared of attacking into Prison. I activate Dark Hole and I summon a TK. He summons Cyber and passes to avoid Prison. He activates Dark Hole and I win from there just beating him down because he has a dead Cyber in hand. Top 4 – David Low (Tour Guide Plants) G1: I opened with a terrible hand, and proceed to draw useless cards followed by a misplay to seal the loss. G2: I drew nothing again, I summon Shura and set four, pass, he summons TK and pass. I mind control and completely fuck up the slim chance I had of winning this game, I flip Gozen in EP killing the TK instead of making Utopia. Next turn he summons Tour Guide and triggers, I activate oppression while I had Shura in hand, because I am blind. Next couple of turns I lose from here as I top Reborn and he doesn’t kill Oppression. Overall was a reasonably good day, sold a Warning for 70, and probably selling the other next week, as I am scared of the current rate of reprints. Props: - Kye Baker for the list - Delta crow for being the best fucking card against players who aren’t good because they get fucked up with it. Over the course of the day I think I +15 off it. - Thunder King being the best card, raping everything all day long. - Props to Carl for testing with me for like a week, lending me a librarian and 3 Tk’s. - Maxx “C” being the 2nd best card in the metagame right now. - Being able to drop Trish in BWs. - Raph buying coconut water for 4 bucks to pay Carl $20 for a Dyna. Worst thing we’ve ever tasted. Reactions were priceless. Slops: - Only two good players being in this tournament, and only playing one. - Playing great throughout swiss and then fucking up when it actually matters. - People actually decking Prison and Bottomless. - Not having a second Zephyros over Mind Control. - Being in a store with fat and retarded people for 6 hours. Seriously smells like shit in there. - Pulling nothing from turbo packs. - Finding out that there’s no cash in the $5k tournament, which is unsanctioned btw :/ - Losing dice rolls all day, only won 2 out of 7. - Leaving dust tornados at home; and not having optimal side cards.
11. MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE

in my testing one for one was pretty bad, u needed to keep your hand for priests. i replaced it with foolish, its working amzingly. Pulls out gig heaps more. Thats helpful against sams and bw's and most other decks you come across.
