  1. Being single

Being single has its perks, such as the fact you can openly flirt, you don't have to answer to anyone, and mooooost importantly, that wallet being fed again. On the other side of the coin, being in a (good) relationship has its upsides too, like you have someone to care about and hang with and someone who's there for you. Really it depends on whether you're ready for a relationship that you decide which one's better. If you're searching and no one's taking the bait, then it's just not supposed to happen right this moment. That doesn't mean you won't find someone tomorrow, or next week, or something. Be available for a relationship, just don't obsess over it. Things will happen eventually, no sweat. My opinion is that being in a relationship has turned into some sort of fad. Just don't go into a relationship just to be in one or just because you think being single's a terrible thing. That would be something to be ashamed of.
  2. Serotonin

Remind me not to get on your bad side.. And welcome, hope you have a bloody good time here. ...So to speak.
  3. New York state assembly approves same-sex marriage bill

They really shouldn't. It really puts a damper on things when one goes to America, and realizes that you have freedom of speech, religion, and all that jazz, but you're still dictated on who you give your wedding ring to. That being said, @ OP: It's about freakin' time.
  4. Gonna do the whole "Ohai, i'm new" thang

Eh, it'll be nothing too destructive I'm sure.
  5. overrated foods

Caviar. Shit tastes worse than ketchup + chocolate fudge brownies. Don't ask.
  6. Gonna do the whole "Ohai, i'm new" thang

Aw, you no like me? It's okay brighteyes, I'll +1 rep you so you don't feel so bad. Fitting in? Oh, like when someone goes looting with his friends because he thinks he'll become cool or something? Er, yeah, ain't me. And thanks for the welcome. Don't give up on me! I'll make it up to you. Someday. Yeah, you were expecting me to say NASCAR or spitting in buckets weren't ya. Oh, I forgot to mention Current Events. I'm so forgetful! It will be interesting. I think we'll all have a fun time together.
  7. Well, I'm not really "new new" registration wise, but this is really the first time I've gotten involved with the community. So, I got back into YGOz like a year ago, never having experienced competitive play before. I've come a long way, but I ain't quite the duelist I wanna be yet. I've got a ways to go, hopefully I'll get there. I'm from Texas, that one state you hear about that's full of rednecks and county folk. Yeah, they're not myths. I enjoy melted chocolate, that feeling you get when you're too comfortable to move, politics, philosophy, music, romantic walks on the beach, and.. a nice backrub. Yowza. ANYWAY, that's basically some insight on me, you'll see me around the boards lurking, maybe even posting (I don't think any of us are ready for that yet, though..) So yeah, end of this lil intro, nice talkin' to ya. Thanks for bein' such a great listener!
