DGZ NAME: KalishDiscord Account Name: chicago_corleoneFormats (Goat/Current/Both): ONLY CurrentExpected level of activity: EASTERN TIME ZONE 11PM-4AM.(Optional) Blurb: Can play Goats soon, but need to learn the current new format. I quit after participating in Nationals in Chicago. I dropped at 4-3. Oh well. I am eager to expand my knowledge base further on so that this can translate into playing at future events. I am considering going to YCS's in 2018, as I can plan ahead of time. I do not have time for regionals at the moment unless they are close. My credentials in are my signature.

  4. Max Suffridge has died

My condolences to Max and his family. Max was definitely a very dominant player in the yugioh world. I always looked up to him for his original - deck tech ideas and choices. He was a pioneer of many great decks. He showcased his skills each and every time. I will always have respect for a player in that caliber. I also want to say that a few years ago I came to the crossing that longtime friend Harry Anderson had passed away. You also were an amazing player and showcased extreme professionalism. You both will be in our hearts forever, as you both made yugioh a lot of fun for us. I also would like to say that James Naughton and Russell Jensen were a part of the Alpha Omega squad also, and I can only imagine how those guys feel, if they have found out. I hope you guys are well too, and hope everyone else is well too. Have a nice week everyone, and take care. Michael Kalish / Jinzo_X9 / jinzodude9

  12. Burning Abyss - Deck Discussion

If I could play 20 monsters and 20 Fire Lakes I would And you would lose over and over because lake is so underwhelming its not even funny. It is good in 1 matchup; qliphort. The terrible vs everything else. Drawing multiples is a total beating. If anything, we should be moving away from main deck lake. 1 is simply enough. The card is good vs 1 out of 4 main decks in the format. could not disagree more with u vs satellaknight it turns the matchup into almost a dice roll - the moment your lake turns on, knights crumble in your hands as they lose board presence and u kill them vs BA it's not that bad bc dantes cant kill dante so u could literally use it as a tempo card. chumlee mentioned how the mirror is a lot of making and breaking boards and this is a great way to simplify the field. on top of that, if they're still playing traps, u can target backrow with it. i genuinely believe that if u think fire lake is underwhelming, ur playing incorrectly.     I have not made a post in a long time, but seeing this makes no sense. Gehring is on key and you disagreeing clearing means you did not comprehend anything above. AND you said he is playing incorrectly??? WOW no way and seriously you are not on point.   BA should main deck Maxx C 2-3. I run 3. The end.
  13. YcS Las Vegas - Gravekeeper's

It attempts to disrupt most meta stuff I will see tomorrow.       Well, to be honest, I feel everything is stellar. Anything out of date here? It tests amazing. Holds up in the meta. Why would you play this over a deck like Geargias or Dragons? That is a good start.   Don't own those guys and expensive. Is it bad?       I didn't have room for a third. No Warning 2k lp is a lot. Everything ss, and with 2 Drain and 3 Fiendish, people will xyz more.
