1. Scraps Post PRIO

Typed List: 3x Scrap Chimera 3x Scrap Beast 3x Scrap Orthros 1x Scrap Goblin 3x Scrap Golem 3x Scrap Shark 1x Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulders 2x summoner Monk 3x Scrap yard 3x Scrap storm 3x Scrap Factory 3x Terraforming 3x Soul Charge 3x Ayers Rock Sunrise 3x Fiendish Chain 3x Scrap Dragon 2x Scrap Twin 1x Stardust Dragon 1x Stardust Spark Dragon 1x Colossal Fighter 1x Crimson Blader 1x Leo, Keeper of the Sacred Tree 1x Evilswarm Exciton Knife 1x Number 101: Silent Honor ARK 1x Abyss Dweller 1x Diamond Dire Wolf So this is my first post to Dgz so I thought I'd start it off with an unofficial deck discussion of my favorite Deck, Scraps. I'd like to also start off by saying that I am a huge fan of consistency within my decks, which may seem odd seeing the ridiculous ratio of field spells to terraforming ratio, or the amount of graveyard recurring spells. This deck, in the current, supply unitless, that scraps need to be as aggressive and as brutal as ever in the early stages of the game and later on in the game. I've opted to play 3 yard because, again, consistentcy is key. Getting into the orthros/normal summonable tuner early game can make the difference between a turn 3 Scrap Dragon and a turn one Dragon. Along with this, factory is the o-so important first turn card in your hand because not only does it speed up the early stages of the game but it also helps to maintain advantage late game versus decks like geargia, which has an amazing grind game. 3 Ayers and 3 Soul are needed for late and early game alike. Soul can open plays for first turn scrap + spark which makes for very easy board control throughout the game. I also play 3 Golem as to limit the damage of drawing one early on because after you special the second one off factory first turn, you're left with no golem in deck for later game factory effects, ultimately losing you advantage, thus the third golem needed. Now the 7th reborn-esque card, redox, was an absolute must with three dead draw golems in main. 3 shark is needed for early game deck thinking and strong first turn plays. 3 fiendish chains finishes off the deck for traps. Fiendish being a very underused card this format doesn't necessarily apply to an under the radar deck such as Scraps who make great use of it being a continuous trap. That wraps it up for my first post, thanks for reading. If you have any changes on the deck, or your own lists, I'm always trying to improve the deck.
  2.   One summer day, a terrorist attack strikes Tokyo. The perpetrators are two boys who call themselves "Sphinx." The attack was just the beginning of the grandiose game they are playing that will envelop all of Japan.   Shinichiro Watanabe and Yoko Kanno at it again with Terror in Resonance.   http://terror-in-tokyo.com/
  3. Gundam Reconguista in G

This is the new Gundam series aimed for this fall celebrating the series 35th anniversary. This is also Yoshiyuki Tomino, the creator of the Gundam franchise first time directing a Gundam series since Turn A Gundam back in 1999. The character designer for the series is Kenichi Yoshida who worked on Eureka 7 and the mechanical designs is being done by Akira Yasuda who worked with Tomino on Turn A Gundam. Considering the pedigree for this and that fact that Turn A Gundam is one of the best in the franchise I'm very excite for this show despite Tomino wanting to target children with this.   Plot
The series takes place in the timeline after Universal Century, called Regild Century (R.C.), in the year R.C. 1014, and follows the story of a young pilot cadet named Bellri Zenam (ベルリ・ゼナム?), who is a member of the Capital Guard, an organization charged with protecting the orbital elevator, the Capital Tower. When the Capital Tower was under attack by a band of space pirates called the Pirate Corps, Bellri encounters and captures a highly advanced mobile suit, the G-Self, and its pilot, Aida Surgan (アイーダ・スルガン?). Feeling an immediate connection with both the G-Self and its pilot, Bellri was somehow able to pilot the mobile suit, which is only operable by a few. Joining the Pirate Corps to fight the Capital Army, Bellri and the rest of the pirates would be involved in a plot that will shake the entire Regild Century era.
Air Date - October 2014, 25 Episodes   PV1 - http://youtu.be/kX_kQZLb64E   PV2 - http://youtu.be/2zJu_Sx6lGg

  6. Hello everybody. I am gonna try to keep this small and with not too many details. San Antonio has been known as the worst Regionals in Texas (South) for sometime now. Mainly because of the bad accommodation to players. Granted, Heroes and Fantasies is a hugely successful anime/comic book store, the only issue with the place are the extremely uncomfortable seats and play space. Round 1 through 4, your usually interlocking elbows with your neighbors and sharing the same play mats. By round 5-8 your ass is completely numbed by the pain. I heard Magic hosted tourneys in the same area and MANDATED the store rent actually tables and chairs for their players. It is a sad thing to bring up first, but I have to set the setting because that is how strenuous it is to play their for so many rounds. Anyways, I used Shaddoll. My goal was to be the first in Texas to top with it. The tourney only gathered about 240 or so and was 8 rounds. A surprisingly low number considering Houston and Dallas Average 480-520 at there regionals. I will try my best to recollect the rounds as there weren't too many. Round 1 vs Shaddoll (2-0) Game 1- I beat him purely with Squamatas and Falco. Once he hit 2000. I made Tempest Magician for exact game. Game 2- It is hard for me to recollect, but I know I took a direct Winda attack. Somewhere down the line I must of beat him with Super Poly or De-Fusion. I honestly do not recall. Round 2 vs Shaddoll (A. Bockenstedt 1-1) My most difficult match of the day. Alex is a friend of mines who watches a lot of Me, Jimmy and Scott's games. I know he is very patient and studious, plus he knows about 90% of my techs and side choices so I knew going in this wasn't gonna be easily. Game 1- We had an EXTREMELY long game 1, as I expected with Shaddoll Mirrors. I made a mistake towards the middle of the game feeling overconfident and he ripped a BLS to continue to pressure me. We went through both Constructs and both Winda. Because we only had 3 minutes left in the round and I had Leo and Vanity's Lock vs top-decking Shaddoll with all the fusions gone. My life was 1200 to his 2100 and I decided to scoop and give him the win, because I felt he deserved to win that round and I did not want either of us to go into time with only 1 round. Game 2- I sided in my Hands/Defusion/NightBeams/Cylinder and took out every lifepoint card (Gorz/Warning/Soul Charge) after it became clear I had to play for the draw and inflict the most damage. I ended up inflicting the most and won Game 2 for the Draw after I surprised him with fire hand. Round 3 vs SylvanPlants (2-0) This was my easiest match. Game 1- I open Math finally for the first time today. He does some play involving Peacekeeper, One for One and Copy Plant. I remember winning easily. Game 2- He elects to go first. Use One for One to pitch Dandy. Spore for Formula with a Token. Sets a Card and passes. I was surprised he didnt make the LIbrarian/Form play. Because I had Hedgehog and I wanna keep formula on the field. I set Hedgehog pass and warning. Next turn he attempts to use Spore and I D.d. crow it.  Then summons Lonefire, tributes it and I warning. On my turn, I search and fuse from the deck. Sometime later, he used 2 Miracle Ferts, which I MST'd only to be followed by a third and he made a Draccosack with sage/copyplant and destroys and Construct. Next turn I just fuse from the deck and win the game. Round 4 vs Evilswarm (2-0) Game 1- He goes first. Opens Ophion and set 5. Search the Trap. I set Squatmata. Next turn he attacks and I destroy it. He summons Kerkyion and I Veiler it. I later Summon Dragon to attack and he responds Infestion to search another Kerykion. I set Warning and Pass. He Summons and get Warning'd and I won the game. Game2- I won fairly easy. He opened Ophion again, grabbed spell, set 4. I set Fire Hand and 2 backrow. Next Turn he searches for The Infestion trap, Summon Keryion grabs Heliotrope and summons it. Then declares attack with Kerkyion and ask "Do you have response to attack declaration"... I smiled and asked... "Do you pass prority to me?" He looked so shocked, it was priceless. He decides to retain priority and activates Macro Cosmos. AMAZED, I chain double Shadow Games and sent Dragon and Beast to destroy Macro Cosmos and draw a card. No replay happens and it kills Fire Hand, I pop Helio and summon Ice Hand. He decides to pass. Next turn I Summon Dragon and attack his keryrion. He decides to shuffle it into deck and get Kerkyion. I then Super poly his Ophion and Dragon into Winda. Pop a S/t and attacked some more. Next turn he summon Kerykion and I either veiler or negate it somehow to win the game. Round 5 vs FAT (2-0) Game 1 He goes first Set 2 and passes. I set Hedgehog. He draws and sets one more. I flip Hedgehog to grab Fusion and he breakthrough skilled. I summon Math. Sent Squamata/Falco. and attacked and he used sanctum and popped with Moralltach. Next turn he blind Ingnitions my Vanity's then summons Myrmeleo searches Void Trap Hole. Attacks with everyone, sets and passes. Next turn I confirm the only face-down I dont know. Fuse AD and Hedge for construct. He voids. I grab back fusion and search Dragon. I Set Dragon. Use AD Changer to flip it and won the game shortly after. Game 2 I space his Tenki and get his hands to miss timing. I win shortly after the game starts. Round 6 vs LIGHTSWORN, DRAGONRULER,CHAOS, GORZ, WHITE STONE, EHREN.dek by Christian Solorzano (2-0) Seemed like an okay guy but his deck just seemed so disrespectful. I had so many slow games, where I just outplayed and outplused my opponent and I didn feel like getting sack. Game 1- I ended up getting him to 4300 after I turn 2, He uses Michael to Banish my Fusion but I won the game shortly after. Game 2-Went almost exactly the way. I fuse and got him down to 4300 again. He even asked me what the life is and I said "Same as last game". He draw brick and I wound up beating him in 3 turns.... Just looking at my useless soul charges in my hand. Round 7 vs Shaddoll (2-0) Game 1- Another hard Match considering his Raiden got him so much so early on turn 1 and I decided not to Effect veiler, Next thing I know I am faceing down a Raiden and a felice with company. I later fused and beat his monsters leaving Raiden and set 2 cards. MST and Shadow games. He decided to make a Construct and set 2 more new cards which I blew up. Next turn I fused for Winda, flipped Beast and made No. 61 Volcasaurus for game. Game 2- Game 2 was much more simple. I used Math and Shadow Games. Turn 3 I fused for Winda and popped his f/d, once he revealed Book of Moon, I used De-Fusion to bring back Dragon and Beast and began to beat him down with Beast/Dragon and Math. Later he fused for Contruct and began to attack my monsters, but since they were Special Summoned I was gaining there effects. After I used Ice Hand to help seal the win!!! I began to clap, I was so happy my goal to top was complete!! Round 8 vs Mermail (1-2!!) I got paired down table 2 to a guy who wanted his first top. People asked me to give him the win and I considered it $$. If I beat him and the first guy(evilswarm) lost at Table 1, I could possibly finally win a regional!! Game 1- I let him go firstand he Gold Sarc for Tidal and search Dragon Ice. At that moment I began to feel afraid. 2 turns later I lost to double Sphere, heavy infantry on Math, Dragon Ice, Tidal, Megalo, Beelze, Undine. Game 2- I locked him down early fight through his sphere and used Super Polymerization (1 I sided out) to beat him in 2 turns. Game 3- Almost the exactsame thing happened and I lost to Tidal, Megalo, Teus, Goons, Sphere, Heavy In, Dragon Ice, Salvage. Final Results: 6-1-1 (7th place) I am so happy I accomplished my goal. I worked on the Shaddoll deck the most out of my group chat and people told me they expected me to top, but you know. I don't like to listen to that and stay focused. Pros: Scott Page topped (with mystery deck) Billy almost topped (Burning Abyss) Alex, my round 2 friend, earned his invite Made more money Cons: Couldn't stay in San Antonio and play Melee Apparently I am the Only shaddoll player smart enough to realize Felice and Soul Charge are not that good. Soul Charge, Soul Charge, Soul Charge. It was terrible. Shoutouts: Epik Cards and Games Legacy Jimmy Nguyen Alex Jack DP People who let me borrow cards. Mike Barnes/ Michael Fazi/ Rodrigo Based Loli Steve Klaus who helped me out Bohdan My idol, Jeff Jones

  8. One More Time

    http://youtu.be/n6RTF4OPzf8
3 Naturia Bambooshoot (aka Bamboozle) 3 Naturia Cherries 3 Naturia Cliff 2 Fire Hand 2 Ice Hand 2 Traptrix Myrmeleo 1 Naturia Marron   3 Pot of Duality 3 Upstart Goblin 2 Forbidden Lance 1 Book of Moon   2 Breakthrough Skill 2 Dimensional Prison 2 Mirror Force 2 Vanity's Emptiness 2 Wiretap 1 Bottomless Trap Hole 1 Compulsory Evacuation Device 1 Solemn Warning 1 Torrential Tribute    Extra Deck:   1 Ally of Justice: Catasor 1 Armades, Keeper of Boundaries 1 Armory Arm 1 Naturia Barkion 1 Naturia Beast   1 Abyss Dweller 1 Cairgorgon 1 Daigusto Emeral 1 Diamond Dire Wolf 1 Evilswarm Exciton Knight 1 Gagaga Cowboy 1 Ghostrick Dullahan 1 Number 50: Blackship of Corn 1 Number 101: Silent Honor Ark 1 Number 103: Ragna Zero
So at first I decided to throw this deck together in attempts to push it off at locals after hyping the crap out of Bamboo, but after playtesting with it a little bit I learned just how unfair the Bamboo can be. Now I won't claim this deck is amazing, it's more of a Bamboo being a good card in a format with heavy trap dekcs more than anything.   A lot of the card choices are actually based off securing and getting off Bamboo, and floating with Cliff/Cherry, and splashing in the usual hands for control, and myrmeleo to search backrow. I'm playing Lances over MST just because it does double as the attack modifier which can come in handy. I still do run Wire-tap, because why it's not needed if the deck is going according to plan, warning is still a bitch and being able to not only negate that but other cards while you don't have Bamboolze is still Important.    Outside of that I feel like most things are standard, you don't really go into the extra deck as much as other decks, and at most it's Dweller or Armades to help deal with clearing Hands, or stuff that is quite situational (tl:dr, rather have it and not need it etc.). I am fixing the side deck at the moment and if anyone does have questions I don't mind answering, but I figured I'd share the deck since it's been a absolute blast to play, and has a pretty damn solid matchup against anything s/t heavy.

  13. Long Way To Go

Disregard everything due to c***ish responses
  14. Been workin' on this shit for a little while, and I like how it plays in its current build. Of course, i'm always open to suggestions as long as they're credible. Oh, no "hurr hurr 101 exciton" cause niggas is broke.     Monsters (14) 1 Honest 2 Vylon Prism 2 Sishunder 3 Mahunder 3 Pahunder 3 Thunder Sea Horse   Traditional family lineup. Running CardCar means I'd have to play Threatening Roar. TR is awful for this build. No Veilers, I've got that covered. Don't even think about Tragoedia, and damn sure don't suggest anything with "Battery" and "Man" in it.   Spells (14) 1 Book of Moon 2 Messenger of Peace 2 Pot of Duality  3 Recycling Batteries 3 Upstart Goblin 3 Mystical Space Typhoon   #hobanlyf. The Upstarts help you get where you need to be, because without them you're too slow. Yes, you could run traps in their place, but traps don't stop everything if you have no monsters on board. Messenger isn't a staple, and might come out for 2 Mind Crush mained. But for now, it does what it needs to do. 2 Duality is more than enough.   Traps (12) 1 Torrential Tribute 1 Bottomless Trap Hole 1 Solemn Warning 1 Seven Tools of the Bandit 1 Memory of an Adversary 2 Mirror Force 2 Divine Wrath 3 Reckless Greed   Reckless for the same reason as Upstart. I like Memory over D Prison for this deck, because getting extra level 4s is amazing, especially against Bujins. Seven Tools over Trap Stun because I don't like turning my traps off for the turn.           Extra: Stardust Dragon Scrap Dragon Crimson Blader Colossal Fighter Evolzar Laggia Steelswarm Roach Diamond Dire Wolf Number 50: Blackship of Corn Maestroke the Symphony Djinn Gagaga Cowboy Abyss Dweller 2 Starliege Paladynamo 2 Constellar Omega    I'm not really a fan of Stardust Spark unless it's really late game, because it's easy to get around. I mean Colossal Fighter doesn't have much use, except getting Crimson Blader back. Laggia should reveal my side deck, and everything else is staples. I tried Thunder Spark Dragon, but I didn't have much use for it, since it requires 3 and STILL gets shrekt by Light-Imprisoning Mirror.      Side: 2 Maxx "C"   3 Twister   1 Soul Drain 2 Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror 2 DNA Surgery 2 Magic Deflector  3 Mind Crush    Side looks a little quirky, I know. However, it works. I wasn't a fan of Vanity's Emptiness, since it disappears in a turn. I like Maxx "C" instead, so I can at least get cards. I might actually cut the Magic Deflectors for Swift Scarecrows. 3 Twister, because Light-Imprisoning Mirror can suck my dick. You'd think 3 MST would be enough, but the extra Twister help make sure you don't waste your MST popping field spells and such. 2 Surgery to stop FF, Bujins and others and sit on Laggia. Shadow Imp is obvious. Magic Deflector is to aid the Prophecy matchup, since just Mind Crush doesn't do much to it. 3 MC because searching is all over the place.     This is the deck. Leave helpful and legitimate suggestions, along with why you made them if they aren't extremely obvious. I'm also on a budget, so refrain from $400 cards.

  17. In The End (T.G. Stun)

**The Side Deck in the photo above shows cards considered for main deck use, not actually intended for the Side Deck**   Main   2x Beast King Barbaros 3x Hazy Flame Cerbereus 1x Thunder King Rai-Oh 3x T.G. Rush Rhino 3x T.G. Warwolf 2x T.G. Striker   3x Upstart Goblin 3x Pot of Duality 2x Mystical Space Typhoon 1x Book of Moon   3x Horn of the Phantom Beast 1x Bottomless Trap Hole 1x Torrential Tribute 3x TG1 - EM1 1x Compulsory Evacuation Device 3x Skill Drain 3x Call Of The Haunted 1x Black Horn Of Heaven 1x Solemn Warning   Extra   1x Mist Wurm 1x Crimson Blader 1x Scrap Dragon 1x Stardust Dragon 1x Colossal Fighter 1x Naturia Barkion 1x Celestial Wolf Lord, Blue Sirius 1x Ally Of Justice Catasdor 1x T.G. Wonder Magician 1x M7 1x Crazy Box 1x Gem-Knight Pearl 1x Diamond Dire Wolf 1x Abyss Dweller 1x GaGaGa Cowboy   Trying to make the deck as "Competitive" as possible. Any suggestions and/or Criticism is welcomed!   **Flame Cerberus may look out of place but under skill drain he is a 2k beat stick and he allows level 8 syncro plays with striker (Making blader is boss) and has synergy with call**   As for the Side Deck - That will be dependant on what springs up as being top tier in this new format. - as of now im thinking DNA Surgery, Iron Wall maybe.

Kinda expecting a lot of backrow heavy decks (Bujin, Fire, Constellar, maybe Swarms idk), so I think that mained Trap Stun and/or Night Beam will most likely become staple for this deck. I also see maindecked hand traps dying down under the new list, so I'm expecting this deck to perform much better in a competitive environment than it has from post-Tachyon onwards.   Really liking the idea of Thanatos in the extra, like making a 2850 Thanatos backed by a bunch of Infernity traps just seems like a complete auto-win vs a bunch of decks. Not really sure if I want more copies of Smashing/Book of Eclipse over Light mirror, just cause like sometimes I'd prefer to have Smashing to deal with the Pleaides/Yamato immediately going second, as opposed to setting LiM and hoping that they don't Dust/MST it whilst they advance their gamestate even further.   So yeah, any suggestions?
