I know it can clog at times, but I have it at 3 because I want to see it asap in this meta. And a lot of times when it clogs I'll just pitch it off with Orange and there's a good chance I'll grab it back with Call later. 3 Orange Light: Another card where people seem to only run 2 of, even though it's so damn good. Kinda the same thing with Kristya, I want to see it asap, and it doesn't even clog that often tbh. There's been countless games where my opp. cleared my backrow only to play right into Orange. 2 Invicil: Didn't think this would put in so much work vs books and some other decks, but it has. And nothing feels better than them dropping World/Priestess only to run into Orange Light  2 XYZ Encore I still run into Evilswarm from time to time so this helps with that

  4. Agent - Discussion

Agent Fairy is one of the anticipated top decks for the Sept. 2011 Advanced Format. With 6 possible "boss monster cards", a theme specialized Effect Veiler, and an Agent that allows for many XYZ and Synchro opportunities by field swarming Shine Balls, Fairies are a force to be reckoned with. //Monster Core: The Agent of Mystery - Earth is a generic search upon summon monster for the theme, searching out the Agents for Hyperion and Kristya fueling. Most Fairy variants, if not all, will run three to support Venus searching and Hyperion summoning. The Agent of Creation - Venus and Mystical Shine Ball go hand in hand, with Venus summoning multiple copies of Shine Ball to the field to either synchro with Earth/Genex Ally Birdman, or XYZ to become a Gachi Gachi Gantetsu. Three of Venus and three of Mystical Shine Ball is usually run to maximize effectiveness. The Agent of Miracles - Jupiter is another search target for Earth which beats for 1800 (or a potential 2600), while also offering graveyard control for Krystia. However, it is far from a staple, and most variants will run no copies. Genex Ally Birdman allows for Synchro plays with Venus' activation. One or two is usually run. The aforementioned theme-specific Effect Veiler, Herald of Orange Light allows for the destruction of the monster as well as negation. Added benefits of Herald of Orange Light include being able to negate in-hand effects on your turn, helping to negate Gorz, Tragoedia, and Effect Veilers. Two or three copies are usually used. Honest in a light heavy deck. Need I say more? Three Master Hyperions, two Archlord Kristyas are the core of the September 2011 Fairy Deck. Envoy of the Beginning is also splashable in this, however, some variants will choose to ignore the powerful Soldier for consistency. Other Common Monsters: Effect Veiler Gorz the Emissary of Darkness Tragoedia Maxx "C" Tour Guide from the Underworld Sangan //With T.G. Engine T.G. Striker T.G. Warwolf //Spell & Trap Core: Although it may no longer be the nuts, Gold Sarcophagus is very powerful in a deck with many gamebreaking cards. This is no exception in Fairies, because of the six boss monsters. At the cost of two turns, Fairies can gain one of their boss cards or set up. Sarcophagus still combos well with Tour Guide from the Underworld, due to the ability of Gold Sarcophagus to remove a Level 4 or lower monster (usually Venus) and Tour Guide from the Underworld's ability to make Leviair the Sea Dragon, which can special summon the aforementioned monster. This card is no longer seen as a staple, however, and many decks replace it with Pot of Duality or other cards. A Fairy specific Draw card, Cards from the Sky is a nice addition to the card pool of fairies. However, it comes with a significant drawback, no Battle Phase. So some variants choose to cut it altogether. Other Spells/Traps: Pot of Avarice Pot of Duality Upstart Goblin The Sanctuary of the Sky Beckoning Light Return from the Different Dimension Trap Dustshoot Mind Crush Call of the Haunted Divine Punishment //Extra Deck Core Easily summonable via Venus and Shine Balls, this XYZ monster increases the attack of your monster and acts as a wall until you can break open the game with your boss cards. One copy is usually used. Leviair the Sea Dragon, summonable with Tour Guide, enables special summons of banished monsters after a successful Master Hyperion drop. One noted combo with this card is the Gold Sarcophagus combo. One uses Gold Sarcophagus to banish a level 4 or lower monster that you would want access to (usually Venus), and within the next two turns, summon Leviair to bring it back. Usually one in the extra deckdeck. Another option for Tour Guide, a 2500 beater is no joke! Other Synchros worth consideration: Armory Arm Ally of Justice Catastor Ally of Justice Decisive Armor Ancient Sacred Wyvern Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier Black Rose Dragon Gaia Knight - The Force of Earth Light End Dragon Orient Dragon Scrap Dragon Stardust Dragon T.G. Hyper Librarian Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier Wielded properly, Agent Fairy can be an extremely formidable deck. Being able to drop six "boss monsters" makes the deck extremely explosive. With Mercury, Gold Sarcophagus, and Tour Guide, the deck can search many of its pieces. Herald allows for plays without fear of Effect Veiler and Gorz. All in all, the deck has many advantages in the expected format, and is sure to emerge as a top contender. This deck aims to take advantage the levels that many of its monsters share, and produce Rank 2 and Rank 3 XYZ monsters and push for big swings. There are a few Synchro monsters in the Extra Deck, but those are for utility and emergency situations, and you will generally not use them. Also this deck abuses the relationship between monsters being actually 'on the field' versus being attached to an XYZ monster, or in the 'material zone'. Basically what this means is that cards like Genex Ally Birdman, Quillbolt Hedgehog, and also for reference, Plaguespreader Zombie, will not be Banished when they are sent to the Graveyard if they were used as materials for an XYZ summon. This because they are not treated as monsters when in the material zone, so any effects that would remove them are reset. Here's some better examples of the function of the deck. The Agent of Creation Venus + Genex Ally Birdman This is the most basic combo you can use in this deck, and it can result in a variety of different playstyle choices, from heavy defense to all out offense. First, summon The Agent of Creation Venus, and use her effect two times, bringing 2 Mystical Shine Balls out. Bounce one for Genex Ally Birdman, then summon it again with The Agent of Creation Venus. Now you are free to overlay into a Rank 2 and a Rank 3, or even Synchro if the situation calls for it. Bring out Gachi Gachi Gantetsu and Wind-Up Zenmaines for some major tanking, swinging with 1900 ATK Wind-Up Zenmaines or stalling with his 2500 DEF. Have fun making your opponent waste resources. Also, Daigusto Phoenix and Number 30: Acid Golem can put 6000 damage on the board if you need to push for game. Tour Guide from the Underworld + Genex Ally Birdman This is obvious. Play Tour Guide from the Underworld and grab another copy of her, then bounce with Genex Ally Birdman for next turn. Makes her just as consistent as last format. The Agent of Mystery - Earth + Quillbolt Hedgehog As long as you have a Quillbolt Hedgehog in grave, you can summon The Agent of Mystery - Earth, get a search, the special summon Quillbolt Hedgehog and make a Rank 2, probably Gachi Gachi Gantetsu. When Quillbolt Hedgehog is detatched, he returns to grave to wait for the next time you need him. The Agent of Creation - Venus + Genex Ally Birdman + Quillbolt Hedgehog This is your OTK if you can set it up. You will need the first two cards in hand, and the final one in grave, with both Mystical Shine Balls in hand or deck. Summon The Agent of Creation - Venus, use her effect to drop your 2 Mystcial Shine Balls, as well as Genex Ally Birdman from your hand, then drop Mystical Shine Ball again, and finally special summon Quillbolt Hedgehog from grave. Make Daigusto Phoenix with a Mystical Shine Ball and Quillbolt Hedgehog, and use its effect, releasing a the Quillbolt Hedgehog. Now you can special summon him agian, and this time make Gachi Gachi Gantetsu, and lastly, summon Number 30: Acid Golem for a grand total of 8100 damage. Alternatively, if you have not used your other copy of Daigusto Phoenix, you can summon that instead of Gachi Gachi Gantetsu and put 9000 damage and more attacks on the board instead. I have tried Plaguespreader Zombie in here, but Quillbolt Hedgehog is better in the sense of not losing any card advantage if the summon is stopped. I know that most of these combos are easily stopped by Effect Veiler, but that can pave the way for your boss monsters, so its kind of bittersweet for the opponent. Thanks for reading, and suggestions?

I am open to every suggestion except getting three tour guides lol This deck is very good, i came 2 at my locals with it and had help building it from a very experienced player.

First of all: Apologies about the song. I just saw Skrillex live on Halloween and that shit was awesome. This was one of the best songs in his set that night. I've been testing Gallis builds extensively and have gone from Synchron builds to Plant builds to even Zombie builds, but I've found that they all lack sustainability. Agents stand on their own with high monster counts as-is, and Gallis gives it almost a plant-like feel, making it able to synchro like crazy while also dropping boss monster after boss monster on the opponent's face. This is the build I've settled on at the moment, but I don't feel it's perfected at this point. I definitely think that Agents are the way to run Gallis, but this deck is by no means finished. Gallis Agents: 40 Monsters: 40 3x Mystical Shine Ball 2x Archlord Kristya 1x Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning 2x Chaos Sorcerer 2x Effect Veiler 3x Gallis the Star Beast 3x Genex Ally Birdman 1x Gorz, the Emissary of Darkness 2x Herald of Orange Light 1x Honest 3x Master Hyperion 1x Sangan 2x T.G. Hyper Librarian 1x Naturia Beast 1x Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier 1x Gaia Knight, Force of the Earth 1x Arcanite Magician 1x Ancient Fairy Dragon 1x Black Rose Dragon 1x Stardust Dragon 1x Scrap Dragon 1x Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier 1x Gachi Gachi Gantetsu 1x Leviair the Sea Dragon 1x Number 17: Leviathan Dragon Some things I'm struggling with: I don't know if I like Arcanite in here yet. The only way I can get him out is through a normal summon of Effect Veiler with Chaos Sorcerer. I'm also unsure about Ancient Fairy Dragon, but I thought it would be useful with Dark World running around. I have yet to need it though. I'm also having the conflict of Gaia Knight vs. Orient Dragon. With IRL testing, Orient Dragon has been kinda mediocre. Some Extra deck ideas would be helpful. Thanks!
