1.                                      Blackwings - Discussion                                                                   Blackwings, a deck that started out way back in Crimson Crisis. It was known back then for it’s explosiveness, ability to generate insane amounts of advantage through Normal Summons and the ability to OTK out of nowhere with easy access to Level 7 Synchroes and Dark Armed Dragon. Nowadays it’s become much more of a slow, tempo deck, forcing your opponent to lose cards through Icarus Attack and Blackwing - Kalut The Moon Shadow while you keep ahead with Whirlwind and lockdown cards such as Vanity’s Emptiness. This old bird has gotten some new tricks while gaining back what made it so fearsome back in 2010. Monsters: Blackwing - Shura The Blue Flame Shura is one of those cards that help you pull ahead of your opponent. By running over another creature in battle, you get a free small creature from your deck. This means that Shura can become a 1-card Level 5 or 7 Synchro by bringing out Vayu or Gale or a 1-card Rank 4 Xyz with Koichi.   Blackwing - Bora The Spear Bora allows for some really clutch Rank 4 plays off of Shura + Whirlwind and with Goats at 3 and Mecha Phantom Beast tokens being left around, his piercing effect has never been more relevant.   Blackwing - Kalut The Moon Shadow One of the cards that made this deck so fearsome back in the day, If I have to really tell you why, then you need to re-read the card. Kalut is still an annoying bitch for an opponent to play around. And with Whirlwind at 3, he allows for quick Level 6’s or Rank 3’s with Gale, although that’s not really recommended. Blackwing - Gale The Whirlwind A Shrink on legs that doesn’t take up your Normal summon and can be easily searched? There was a reason this card was being splashed in so many decks back in the day. Blackwing - Blizzard The Far North A one card Level 5 or 6, granted, those levels have lost quite a bit of power since the last time Blackwings were on top. That being said, a one card Armades, Gram, HTS Psyhemuth or Catastor is still nasty. This card will be even stronger once the TCG gets Vulcan the Divine   Blackwing - Sirocco The Dawn Sirooco is a pretty neat card. If you summon him with a whirlwind out, he can tutor every monster in the deck. He can also boost your other creatures to have them run over bigger guys. Also, in the mirror, he can be used to pump your monster by the attack of your opponent's monsters. He also has a nifty play with Bora, letting you pump Bora up to 3700+ and pierce through Tokens and small monsters. He can also turn himself and other Blackwings you control into Virus targets in a pinch   Blackwing - Zephyros The Elite Zephyros makes some really cool combos in this deck. Blizzard bring back Bora/Shura, bounce Blizzard for Zephy. Make a rank 4 and have a Blizzard for next turn Bounce your Gale's to use it twice, bounce Kaluts etc.. Blackwing - Vayu The Emblem of Honor Vayu is one of the more unique cards in the deck. He can make free Armor Masters and Armed Wings with an in grave Armed Wing or Sirocco, turns Shura into a one-card Level 5 synchro, and can make for some really neat combos with Gale. (Gale halve something, run over it with Shura, bring out Vayu. Shura + Gale into Armor Master, Armor Master + Vayu into Stardust/Dark End Dragon/Scrap Dragon or whatever is needed. Banish Armor Master and Vayu for Silverwind the Ascendant.). But due to his awful stats and inability to be used as a tuner normally, he's often a dead draw.   Blackwing - Koichi The Daybreak Some players use this over Vayu since its a better draw (normal summon this special Bora go level 8 sync), and rank 4 xyz's can be better than level 5 synchros. Other monsters that often see play in this deck: Dark Armed Dragon Effect Veiler Maxx "C" Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning Cardcar D Spells:   Black Whirlwind One of the best searchers of the game. It tutors from every successful normal summon you make. You should win most duels you open with this + Shura/Bora/Zephy. It's staple in most builds. If you aren’t running three, you shouldn’t run this deck.   Allure Of Darkness Almost all monsters this deck plays are dark, and Allure is a decent draw card, especially in the early game when you have dead Blizzards/Koichis/Vayu (Not recommended to banish this guy though)   Pot of Duality It gives the deck added consistency by digging for powerful cards like Icarus, Kalut, whirlwind, DaD etc.. Other spell cards: Forbidden Lance Forbidden Chalice Book of Moon Cards For Black Feathers Traps:   Icarus Attack Disrupts plays, chainable 2 for 2 removal.. Run 3.   Delta Crow - Anti Reverse With Heavy Storm gone, this deck becomes one of the few decks that have access to mass Spell/Trap removal, This card can be especially devastating when flipped on your opponent’s end phase.   Vanity's Emptiness A new(ish) addition to the deck. This deck doesn’t rely too much on special summons to win, also with the banning of Solemn Judgment and both Bottomless Trap Hole and Torrential Tribute going to 1 alongside the 1 Solemn Warning we’re allowed to play, having access to Summon negation (or in this case, prevention) is extremely important, also we can easily make turn 1 Master Key Beetle + This to shut off games for an opponent.   Fiendish Chain Effect Negation, Attack Negation, and can be recycled via Zephyros' effect.   Other Traps Skill Drain Breakthrough Skill Extra Deck   Blackwing Armor Master & Blackwing Armed Wing Your archtype specific Level 7 and 6 Synchroes. Armor Master is an amazing wall that can crash into bigger creatures and make them tiny on the next turn, while Armed wing is a strong piercer that can get in for massive damage against Tokens and small set creatures   Blackwing - Gram The Shining Star A level 5 archtype synchro that can special summon other monsters from your hand. It is important to remember that he cannot be summoned through Vayu's effect   Blackwing - Silverwind The Ascendant A 2800 body that can be brought out via Vayu. Requires 2 tuners to synchro into normally, so that rarely ever happens   Number 66: Master Key Beetle One of the best new tools we have, a 2500 DARK Virus target that can set up a very nasty lock with Vanity’s Emptiness, It can also be used to protect your Whirlwinds if need be.   Ice Beast Zerofyne An absolute beast, can shut down your opponent’s entire field until your next turn and become massive as hell. One of the few cards the deck has that can turn an entire duel around in a single play.     Diamond Dire Wolf Themed Scrap Dragon. This is one of the few decks that can run both Dire and Scrap effectively.   Other Extra Deck cards HTS Psyhemuth Scrap Dragon Stardust Dragon Dark End Dragon Ally of Justice Catastor Armades, Keeper of Boundaries Gagaga Cowboy Maestroke The Symphony Djinn Number 69: Heraldry Crest Number 44: Fortune Tune   Side Board   Eradicator Epidemic Virus / Deck Devastation Virus Seeing as Sirocco can make your dudes into instant Virus targets, these are a no brainer to run in the sideboard. EEV is good against backrow heavy decks or decks that require spells to get online, such as Gravekeepers, Infernity, Prophecy and even the Mirror. Whereas DDV is better to side against decks that use small dudes to their dirty work such as Mermail, Gravekeeper, and Gadgets. Both are made even deadlier with Mind Crush.   Imperial Iron Wall Outside of Vayu, DAD and Allure, this deck doesn't banish, and since Dragons and Bujin like to banish all day this card can be a pain in the ass for them to deal with   Other Side Deck Cards: Light-Imprisoning Mirror Soul Taker Trap Stun Starlight Road   Sample Builds Top 4 YCS Toronto Sehabi Kheiredine

2. The Floodgate Strategy

So for the past few days I've been entertaining myself on DN by running decks other than Dragons but it really isn't possible to play rated matches with these and reasonably expect to win a majority of the time. When I heard that Sam won in Turin I was really proud of him since I've always admired the dedication he devotes to the game and his ability in general, but as I found out after watching his deck profile for the event he didn't actually put in a lot of testing and effort compared to what he presumably has done for previous events he has topped. This to me was actually the most interesting thing because once you see his list you know exactly how things went down and why he managed to win the whole thing without much preparation.   Players here on dgz were quick to recognize that it wasn't really Geargia that won that YCS but rather a particular strategy employing certain cards which may have limited general utility but which are devastatingly powerful in a centralized metagame. I added what I call for the sake of expediency the "Pedigo engine" lol to a couple of different decks and I've had an enormous amount of success on DN rated matches. Before I discuss the concept of floodgate cards further here are the lists I tested out. I played 20 matches in total 12 with the first deck and 8 with the second. I won all matches and lost only 3 games with BW and 1 with Swarms.       The strategy works because floodgate cards are more effective at dealing with Dragons than generic traps and most of the meta is Dragons so main decking these cards is not such a liability. What I think Pedigo showed though, was that a combination of floodgate cards exists that can be included between the main and side decks which can actually deal with most if not all of the meta without having to include generic traps at all or only a few as support in the role that tech floodgate cards such as rivarly/gozen used to occupy in previous formats. With Heavy Storm gone there really is no reason not to set your entire hand of floodgate traps and watch as your opponent is inactive for turn after turn while you play out your strategy with your own monsters. Monsters of course which all nowadays search each other or otherwise provide you with extra resources while at the same time thinning your deck so you can draw into even more floodgate cards. The strategy is mindless and devastating and I will readily admit to having felt like a complete douchebag pulling it off time and again against excellent Dragons players who made all the right plays to get around my traps only to have me flip another copy once they had an out. I did this not to rack up points but rather in order to test an interesting albeit degenerate idea out.   Decks are all being given themed cards, like Wisdom and Pandemic, that allow them to play around generic back row with ease and there are also excellent generic choices like Lance, Dress, and Safe Zone which accomplish similar goals. This fact combined with the reality that there is no Storm to out an entire field of floodgate traps makes them quite a superior choice. There is the stuff everyone should know: Gozen and Iron Wall along with Maxx C provide the most coverage in the current meta and 7 tools must be played over Trap Stun in order not to shut down your traps on your opponent's turn in an attempt to stop Return or Sixth Sense, and Upstarts are maxed out because it is imperative to access your floodgate cards early and life points are an irrelevancy when the opponent cannot make plays. The core you use can influence the floodgate cards you run and really any deck that can thin itself out and have a steady stream of monsters can employ the strategy.    As degenerate as it sounds I would encourage players to try the Pedigo engine out and see how powerful it can be even if you open up with cloggy hands of multiple floodgate traps and no monsters, if the opponent can't make plays it will all snowball in your favor once you do get a monster and get your strategy going. I mostly posted this  so I could get suggestions on what other archetypes to try out with this strategy(Dragon Rulers obv), and to see what experiences others had in using primarily floodgate cards in the side over traditional choices like Eradicator, Xyz Encore, Dyna etc.

It has a slight amount of synergy with the deck, too, so it's not like I'm just shoehorning it in. *ahem* I'm not playing Warning because I'm bad and I don't think it's as good as it used to be. Main decking a copy of Mind Crush because it hits every semi-decent deck. LIM at 3 because there are a lot of Hieratic, Bujin, and random Lightsworn players at my locals. Also, I'm not playing Diamond Dire Wolf or Stardust.   plz rate from 1 to bad
  5. Hey guys whats up! Names Devon but go by the username D3von or D3vonator21! 7. Blackwing Maybe

I don't even think this is a good deck, but there's nostalgia associated with it. I haven't tested this at all, it's pure theory-oh. Dig to see Whirlwind and Emptiness as soon as possible. Proceed from there.     17   3 Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame 3 Blackwing - Bora the Spear 3 Blackwing - Kalut The Moon Shadow 2 Blackwing - Sirocco The Dawn 2 Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North 1 Blackwing - Zephyros The Elite 1 Blackwing - Gale The Whirlwind 1 Blackwing - Kochi The Daybreak 1 Dark Armed Dragon   11   3 Pot of Duality 3 Black Whirlwind 2 Cards for Black Feathers 1 Allure of Darkness 1 Book of Moon 1 Dark Hole   12   3 Fiendish Chain 2 Vanity's Emptiness 2 Icarus Attack 2 Mirror Force 1 Bottomless Trap Hole 1 Compulsory Evacuation Device 1 Solemn Warning    1 Crimson Blader 1 Scrap Dragon 1 Colossal Fighter 1 Blackwing Armor Master 1 Black Rose Dragon 1 HTS Psyhemuth 1 Blackwing Armed Wing 1 Armades, Keeper of Boundaries 1 Ally of Justice Catastor 1 Number 66: Master Key Beetle 1 Abyss Dweller  1 Diagusto Emeral  1 Gagaga Cowboy 1 Maestroke the Symphony Djinn 1 Ice Beast Zerofyne or Lavaval Chain    ---   - The monsters are pretty reasonable. Besides Shura, Bora, and Kalut, they are all flawed in one way or another, so use Whirlwind to toolbox them as required.  (Gale being flawed in that you can only play 1 of him).  - Since this is untested, I don't have anything to back up this statement: It seems like trip Icarus Attack would lead to some shitty situations in a deck that is already on the weak side.  - Zerofyne or Lavaval Chain both have merit. Chain is more combolicious where Zerofyne could occasionally help to get you out of situations (MKB+Safe Zone, Dracossack) where this deck struggles.  - I don't really like Vayu. It's a shitty draw. There's no Oppression to combo with. And a 2300 or 2500 Vanilla beater really isn't very intimidating.  - BWAM seems kind of bad too.

  9. With their ability to play both control-explosive, being able to destroy any problem cards with Icarus Attack, one card access to powerful level 6 synchros and very flexible side options Blackwings have been one of the tier 1 decks for a long time despite the banlists, until March 2011 list which restricted Kalut to 1, Icarus Attack to 2 and Goyo Guardian to 0. Though September 2011 list gave them 3rd Icarus back but that did not affect much. Now their own powerful hand combat card back at two, and some of the decks that Blackwings struggle against being nerfed, they may have a chance at topping some big events. Monsters: One of the main monsters of the deck. It attacks over a lot of monsters on his own, and cards like Kalut and Book of Moon help him with the ones he can't. You bring out Vayu or Gale with its effect for synchro's or Kochi for Xyz's. It's staple at 3. Though his piercing effect isn't really relevant this format he gives the deck some aggression. Also makes rank 4s easily. Kalut being at 2 again kinda makes up for its low attack again. It's usually ran 2-3, some Chaos builds run less. Kalut is probably one of the most powerful hand traps of the game. A Blackwing backed up with Kalut and Icarus Attack is really hard to play around and with +1400 atk Bora or Shura run over almost any monster.. This card being at two also makes the deck more consistent since it gives more solid targets for Blizzard and Icarus. Run the 2 you can obv. Even on its own he's a pretty solid card as he can attack over almost anything that has 2500 or less attack. In Blackwings its even better, it halves monsters making them prey for Shura so you can make 2 level 8 synchros (if you play Vayu). makes instant Armor Master, Black Rose Dragon, Ancient Fairy Dragon with Bora/Shura/Zephyros, and any level 8 synchros with Sirocco including Void Ogre Dragon and Dark End Dragon. Most of the time it's a one card level 5 or 6 synchro. Or you can bring something like Shura, set Icarus and make a plus one of it. Or reuse Gale. Though with Brio and Goyo gone it has lost a lot of power it still brings out 2600 beatsticks, one card outs to synchros, monsters that make piercing damage, Catastor or Librarian with Kalut.. recommended to run at least two. Zephyros makes some really cool combos in this deck. Blizzard bring back Bora/Shura, bounce Blizzard for Zephy. Make a rank 4 and have a Blizzard for next turn Bounce your Gale's to use it twice, bounce Kaluts etc.. A normal summonable monster that attacks over Rai-ohs, Neos Alius, Dino vanillas. In combination with Bora you can attack over almost anything or make big damages. Does nasty things with Gale too. Good with Vayu. It's usually ran 0-1 since it can often be a dead draw and drawing multiples sucks. Usually summoned with Shura for level 5 synchros. (since Shura negates its effect) It makes 2300-2500 beatsticks out of nowhere with Sirocco or Armed Wing. There's this combo you can make two level 8 synchros with Shura and Gale with the help of Vayu too. Gale halve something, run over it with Shura, bring out Vayu. Shura + Gale into Armor Master, Armor Master + Vayu into Stardust/Dark End Dragon/Scrap Dragon or whatever is needed. Banish Armor Master and Vayu for Silverwind the Ascendant. Some players use this over Vayu since its a better draw(normal summon this special Bora go level 8 sync), and rank 4 xyz's can be better than level 5 synchros. Other monsters that often see play in this deck: Dark Armed Dragon Thunder King Rai-Oh Cyber Dragon Effect Veiler Maxx "C" Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning Cardcar D Spirit Reaper Spells: One of the best searchers of the game. It gives you +1s from every successful normal summon you make. You should win most duels you open with this + Shura/Bora/Zephy. It's staple in most builds. Almost all monsters this deck plays are dark, and Allure is a good card. It fixes the bad hands, makes good hands better. It gives the deck consistency by searching powerful cards like Icarus, Kalut, whirlwind, DaD etc.. other spell cards that can be played(excluding obvious staples) Mind Control Shard of Greed Forbidden Lance Forbidden Chalice Traps: Disrupts plays, chainable removal for pluses.. Run 3. Though with Heavy storm legal this card won't be as good as it was but it can win games on its own against careless players. Mostly a good side option. Other trap options: Bottomless Trap Hole Dimensional Prison Fiendish Chain Starlight Road Vanity's Emptiness ... This deck's best side is probably its endless side deck options. Gozen Match, Skill Drain, Rai-Oh, Doomcaliber, Snowman Eater, Delta Crow, Soul Taker.. only things you can't side in this are Macro/D-Fissure and Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror I think. Sample decklist: 3 Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame 3 Blackwing - Bora the Spear 1 Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite 2 Blackwing - Kalut the Moonshadow 2 Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North 1 Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind 1 Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor 1 Dark Armed Dragon 2 Thunder King Rai-Oh 2 Effect Veiler 1 Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning 2 Pot of Duality 1 Allure of Darkness 1 Black Whirlwind 1 Monster Reborn 1 Dark Hole 1 Heavy Storm 2 Mystical Space Typhoon 1 Book of Moon 3 Icarus Attack 2 Solemn Warning 1 Solemn Judgment 2 Bottomless Trap Hole 1 Starlight Road 2 Dimensional Prison 1 Ally of Justice Catastor 1 T.G. This build usually maxes Siroccos and Vayu's and forgoes the other Blackwings except Gale and Zephyros. Depending on the format it can use tech cards like Deck Devastation Virus too. Some formats this variant does better than regular Blackwings. However, they quickly rose to the top as an archetype that focused on the summoning of Dark Strike Fighter. In the next list, they were hit, with Gale going to 1 and Dark Strike Fighter banned. However, they managed to remain a top tier deck. Blackwings have managed to stay top tier through almost all the large amounts of hits they have received, only dropping after the March 2011 list. However, the September list gives them a card back, and with other changes, Blackwings might end up being a strong contender in the new format. Being able to special summon himself in times of need, and kill threats with up to 2550 attack, he is one of the best cards in the archetype. Play the 1 legal copy.

Kalut allows your Blackwings to overcome threats bigger than themselves during the damage step, thus adding another element of fear to playing against Blackwings. His very existence can also serve as a threat in and of itself, as you can attack into bigger monsters with your Blackwings even when you don't have Kalut to bait out Dimensional Prison and Mirror Force. Play the 1 you can.

Shura is one of the main incentives to run this deck. He'll normally be summoning Vayu or Gale and creating a synchro or other threat for your opponent. He also works well with Black Whirlwind and Kalut for additional plusses. Play 3.

With the release of Xyz monsters, Kochi becomes better off of a Shura for the fact that you can make Utopia or Steelswarm Roach. He also gives the deck a level 4 tuner for more level 8 synchro options. However, with a small body and a damaging effect, he isn't often highly useful. Run 0-1.

Bora adds aggression to the deck, and allows the deck to easily beat decks that rely on cards such as Tokens or Spirit Reaper for defense. He is also a level 4 for Xyz and synchro summons that can special summon himself. Run 2-3.

Now we come to what in my opinion is the main reason for playing the deck. Blizzard is amazing. He allows you to come back from bad situations, often with a single topdeck, and make level 6/5 synchro plays with your monsters. He also helps with graveyard control for cards such as Vayu and DAD. At times, however, he can be a bad topdeck if your grave is not yet loaded. Run 2-3, but almost always 3.

Zephyros is one of the deck's newest tricks, and allows for cool plays with Bora and Gale for virtually free synchros and Xyz monsters. The plus he provides can often be crucial in forcing a game into your favor. Run 1-2, but more than 1 usually isn't necessary as he can be redundant.

Vayu is a strong card when used in tandem with Shura, which allows it to be used for a synchro on the field, opening up easy level 5 and 9 synchro plays for the deck. It can also be used from the graveyard with a dead Sirroco, Armed Wing, or Armor Master to create a surprise synchro to swing the game. However, more than 1 copy will often clog your hand. Run 1-2 in standard Blackwings. Vayu Turbo is a decktype centering around using Vayu's effect to bring out many large beaters and overwhelm your opponent. This deck plays less Blackwings than typical decks, usually playing only 3 Vayu, 3 Sirocco, 1 Zephyros, Gale, and a Shura or 2. This deck also plays cards such as Dark Grepher and Armageddon Knight to support Vayu's effect. Play 3 Vayu in this deck.

Sirocco is the biggest maindecked Blackwing the deck normally plays, and has an effect that allows Blackwings to beat over larger monsters. However, the fact that he's often a hard to normal summon vanilla hurts alot, and he's often lackluster if not used with Black Whirlwind or Gale. He's often used simply as Vayu food in the deck. Play 0-1, unless you're playing Vayu turbo. Play 2-3 in Vayu Turbo.

Dark Armed Dragon adds another boss to the deck, and with the amount of graveyard control Blizzard and Vayu provide, is often very easy to summon. Run 1. Other Monster card choices: Effect Veiler - adds a form of non-trap based defense to the deck, important in the upcoming format. Tour Guide + Sangan - Usable in most every deck anymore, but have a much smaller range of targets in a Blackwing deck. Blackwing - Breeze the Zephyr - Not highly playable, but has interesting combos if you're using Sangan Blackwing - Calima the Haze - It can act as a pseudo-Necro Gardna with the name "Blackwing", but is hit hard by Kristya and often the deck won't need it. An interesting option though. Maxx "C" - works much the same as Veiler Thunder King Rai-Oh - A strong form of stun/power for this deck, but with the popularity of Tour Guide will often be a minus for you. Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning - Considerable as another boss if you're playing Veiler or Thunder King. Worth noting that Utopia is also a light. Card Trooper, Armageddon Knight, and Dark Grepher - All ways of putting large amounts of monsters in your gravey, fueling Vayu's effect. All of them are viable options in Vayu Turbo, but probably not in Standard wings.

A strong searcher for the deck that will provide a train of plus 1s when you normal summon repeatedly. Will rarely be dead when you have hands consisting of Vayu or Blizzard. Also can be used in tandem with Blizzard to play around Warning if your opponent is an idiot and didn't Warning his summon.

Duality adds consistency to the deck, as the deck will not always need a special summon through it's strength in normal summonable monsters. However, some people find that it will often be dead for them. Run however many you feel necessary, but at least one is suggested.

Allure of Darkness provides more consistency for the deck, and no monsters are so overly important to the deck in that they can't be removed. Play 1. Other Spell card choices: Cards for Black Feathers - A mix of Allure and Pot of Duality that is usually to restrictive and unnecessary. Burial from a Different Dimension - Lets you reuse Vayu's effect in Vayu Turbo. Can often be a dead draw however.

Chainable removal for the deck that allows you to clear out boss monsters or spell and trap threats or can simply be chained to your opponent's removal for a plus. The amount of power it loses from Heavy Storm coming back is rather negligible. Play 3.

With the unbanning of Heavy Storm, people won't be setting as many backrow as to make this a plus anymore. It becomes rather useless and often dead or even a plus for your opponent. Play 0, or at most 1. Other Trap choices: Return from the Different Dimension - Can be used in Vayu Turbo for large pushes after using Vayu's effect, or for game after DAD or Allure. Worth playing in Vayu Turbo, and consideration in standard 'Wings. Extra Deck Choices:

The 3 signature Blackwing Synchros. None of them have the greatest effects, but they all benefit from being named "Blackwing", because of Vayu, Gale, etc. Play 1 of each, although silverwind isn't necessary.

A Blackwing wannabe. Blackwings can make him fairly easily, but he'll often be killed by removal rather than battle, making Librarian or Catastor a better choice. Play 1 if you want to.

Wow? A good Blizzard synchro that isn't named Brionac? Blizzard lets you create this card with ease, and this card lets you break your opponents setups. This card gives the deck what it needs by making Blizzard even more amazing than before.

Blackwings play a large number of easy to summon level 4s, so both of these cards are great for the deck. You can make either of them virtually for one card with Shura into Kochi or Bora + Zephyros. You'll be going for Utopia unless you have protection for Roach usually, but both of them add a whole new toolbox to the deck. Other Synchro card choices: Dark End Dragon Arcanite Magician (depending on your side deck) Number 17: Leviathan Dragon Leviar the Sea Dragon
