Couple of days left before PG2 hits us up for more dollars and id thought id share my build with you guys, see if you can help me tune it into shape Monsters 26: 1x Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos 1x Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms 1x Tidal, Dragon Ruler of Waterfalls 1x Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon 1x Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning 2x Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord 1x Labradorite Dragon 1x Flamvell Guard 3x Legendary Maju Garzett 3x Hieratic Dragon of Su 3x Hieratic Dragon of Eset 3x Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit 2x Eclipse Wyvern 2x Dragard 1x Hieratic Dragon of Gebeb Spell 12: 2x Hieratic Seal of Convocation 1x A Wingbeat of Giant Dragon 2x Dragon Shrine 3x Upstart Goblin 2x Mystical Space Typhoon 1x Book of Moon 1x Book of Eclipse Traps 2: 2x Hieratic Seal From the Ashes Extra: 1x Star Eater 1x Leo, Keeper of the Sacred Tree 1x Trident Dragon 1x Crimson Blader 1x Stardust Dragon 1x Black Rose Dragon 2x Number 95: Galaxy-Eyes Dark Matter Dragon 1x Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon 1x Number 107: Galxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon 1x Hieratic Overlord Sun Dragon of Heliopolis 1x Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack 1x Number 11: Big Eye 1x Gaia Dragon, The Thunder Charger 1x Hieratic Dragon King of Atum Problems I have with the deck: - Only 1 lvl 6 vanilla, i feel 2 would be too cloggy but drawing into lab at any point is a -1, but it has such good synergy with dragard(who in this deck is so versatile) and going into atum/gaia + bringing out a boss from deck, not sure how to fix this problem outside of removing it from the deck completely, but trident and leo are soo strong - 15 cards for extra deck just isnt enough! Notes - No Redox, Originally i had room for him, but this deck is just so packed i had to pull him out, in other decks like mythics he is a must but idk about him in this one, i constantly found myself opening 2 rulers sometimes, and i wanted to cut that down too -BLS is easy to get out with dragard+Garzett in the deck, and well worth it - Garzett is a free 95 with eset, and with tefnuit with your opponent controlling a monster, he also does piercing, so with 2 dark matters and a red eyes on the field dumping them all for garzett to your opponents lone face down monster is easy game without woring about fire hands or sumoning from deck ect... - tefnuit into dragard is also a dark matter combo - the question still has to be asked... why is convocation still at 2.. - 3 shrines is too much for this deck, especially with dark matters effect - 2 ashes simply because free ruler summons is nice and destroying them with trident is always fun, and if the otk fails it helps set up for the grind game with rulers - Crimson Blader is there simply because he can shut down so many decks, especially the mirror if he can get over your opponents monster - only 2 dark matters because 3 is overkill, 6 banished monsters is enough i think and by the time you have summoned the 2 you should have game, or close enough to not need the 3rd
Im trying to run Mythic Rulers without the blue-eyes draw engine. Your Thoughts? Flamvell Guard: Added a 3rd one for the lack of vanilla dragons, works well Koa'ki Meiru Drago: For the meta hate, and can side out if needed Kuribandit: Great @2 so i see it more early game Card Trooper: For the MP1 mill and the Black Rose plays, could maybe bump up to 2 Divine Dragon Apocralyth: This one needs some explaining as im probably gonna get a lot of hate for it, but i played a lot of chaos drags and im use to REDMD to be more then a one trick pony, i felt like i needed the revive power along with the shrine then to hand with divine that i am missing by not running eclipse wyvern. i feel divine is better in this deck as i can still use him to pull out a ruler if i need the in hand effect or the seven swords draw with the banish search where as eclipse would be just a banishable dragon if i already have redmd. Miracle Dig: Works well mid to late game for that refund power Upstart Goblin: only chucked it in last minute as a filler, open to suggestions for spell, trap or monster replacement. Maybe a 3rd CoC?
