Hey guys so I have been testing a few versions of the new "Hand" archtype in Dragons of Legend and I have come up with two builds so far. The first idea I had was to put a fire fist engine in the deck in order to have MOAR instant answers and to be able to search some of my beaters/floaters. I reverted the fire engine back to when it played things like tour guide and tengu and went from there. As obvious as it is, fire fist was the most controlling and reactive choice Here was the list: After a bit of testing I had realized that this engine lacked advantage and had no grit game maneuvers. I also realized the synergy that both of these engines lacked together. I decided to take an alternate route with the deck. I chose to put in a new twist. Hero beat came to mind instantly. These engines performed amazingly. The ability to use the hands in tandem with miracle fusion as a pseudo fire or water in order to make NOVA Master or AB Zero has been amazing. After a few days of testing this deck i decided that it was most likely the best version, and the version I would play. Cards like gemini spark and emergency call, cardcar D, and miracle fusion all aid in gaining advantage while simplifying the gamestate. The largest plust i have seen in this version is the abusibility of miracle fusions, gemini sparks for instant plus ones, and THE SKILL DRAIN! There are reasons why some cards aren't in the lineup. > I did have Sword of Seven Stars in the lineup and the decision to fit it back in is still in the air because drawing 2 and adding a WIND/FIRE Dragon is always useful. Opening with 0 Elementals and 1/2 Sword is pretty ass though. > The Trap lineup is my biggest concern as Hidden Arsenal 7 will be comfortably legal by the time these guys make it here so I do want to change it up to where it can be flexible vs Ophion/M7 > I have multiple Debris targets and Golem enabling 1 card Rank 4s is good. Queen Dragun gets tons of mileage out of these guys, especially (if I'm reading this correctly) an Elemental revived by her won't bounce back to the hand so a standing 2400-2800 attacker can setup Big Eye / Gaia summons and/or Lv8 synchro plays w/ Flamvell Guard. > Even if the Elementals can play around Macro to an extent, Soul Drain is a HUGE fucking problem so I maxed MST. -----edits made------ > Dropped Delta Flyer from the lineup. It's only role was to make Trident Dragion and even then, I haven't made it so it was pointless to keep it in. >Listed the Extra Deck. Queen Dragun is a fucking monster in here. Detatching gets you a free Elemental that stays on field, setting up for Debris grabbing Guard for Synchro plays or it + another Elemental for a Big Eye play. > Thought Ruler & Crimson Blader are ridic targets for Redoux eff. The summon freezing/LP gain they provide are beneficial especially when the game stretches. ------more edits made----- > Had to fit Yamata & Totem back in here to refuel the hand when pitching for Incarnate effects, plus both are searchable by respective Incarnates > Daigusto Emeral is for the sake of throwing back used Big Eye into the Extra and is a banish target for Tempest. > Added Lance to help in the Fire Fist matchup
