For those of you still unfamiliar with the deck, you sit back while building a grave with Bandit/Jaingshi until your opponent makes a mistake and you counterpush with Creators, or drop a Majesty's Fiend to lock it up. Beginning of the End gives you an absurd edge when the game goes long, and keeps your DAD live throughout the game.     
  2. Trick or Treat

    This is the Madolche deck I've been playing since the beginning of the format. It has served me fairly well on DN and IRL, but it's time to retire it. With DGLG releasing this weekend, I don't know if such a passive deck can keep pace with Soul Charge boosted Dragons, Mermails, and the like. Additionally, there's bound to be a better variant going forward utilizing those newer cards as well. RIP Trick or Treat. The deck attempts to do 4 things: (1) Get a monster to the graveyard; (2) Put a Level 3 on the field; (3) Summon Hootcake; (4) Ensure your Tiara play resolves.   Ghostricks take care of 1 and 2 relatively well. Moreover, they actually DO something as the game progresses. A hand full of Spell Striker, T.G. Warwolf, and Instant Fusion isn't doing you anything. A handful of Ghostricks is blocking attacks, thinning your deck, and drawing cards.    Admittedly, the Mermail match-up isn't great b/c of Marksman. (Another reason to abandon this deck after Mermail's strong showing at Vegas.) It's to the point where I am not opposed to maindecking Soul Drain.   The trap line-up is designed to disrupt your opponent's plays as much as possible while you turtle. This is why I used Wrath over Chain. Jian keeps the cost of Divine Wrath pretty manageable. And the higher than normal Madolche count along with Divine Wrath works to put Madolches in the graveyard for Hootcake and/or Tiaramisu. Mirror Force went in and out of the deck (3rd Wrath/Compuls), and Trap Stun flipped with Lance a few times. Those things were pretty fluid.   Since your early game is mostly turtle-ing or normal summoning Magileine, Duality works as the best draw engine.    Everything else is pretty standard. All in all, I think it's a pretty clean list. Room for change in a few places, but the bulk is legit.   Goodnight Halloween themed deck!

Crow 1 Transmigration Prophecy This is something I've been playing online for the past few weeks.It is still very much a work in progress, so I'm open to suggestions. The Side deck changes pretty frequently, however given the popularity of bujin and water, Transmigration and Crow are probably the best cards in the side, Mirror Forces were Debunks at one point, however I wanted something I could bring in vs fire, as that deck can cause some real problems. The deck to me feels like a better Frog Monarchs. Unearthing letting you search all of your boss monsters for pushes and the ability to play actual traps(even if it's not many) is a huge plus in my mind. Card Choices: 7 Tribute Monsters/2 Unearthing the Monarchs: Unearthing is hands down the best card in the deck. Being able to ensure a monarch hits board every turn is ridiculous, and any card that says "put Dark Armed into your hand the same turn you make him live" is absurd. Most of my wins have simply come from him + a monarch hitting board to simplify the game to the point my opponent can't catch back up. I wish I could play 3, however the limitation it places on itself makes running 3 hard to justify. I started with just the 3 of Caius/Raiza each and 3 Unearthing and found myself struggling with hands where I'd draw multiple unearthing and no tribute monsters, which was just frustrating. I brought in Mobius for the third spell and eventually swapped him with Jinzo. Mobius eventually came into the side as an extra way to deal with cards like Shadow Mirror and Decree. Honestly this is one of the things I'm still figuring out.   2 Ghostrick Mary: For most people, Mary is a staple 3 of, however I only have one monster I really want to set with her effect. If I open Jianshi or draw into one at any time while playing 3 mary, I'm automatically playing with one more dead card. I wanted to eliminate little inconsistencies like this wherever possible, and I could be wrong with this line of thinking but I haven't missed the third copy yet.   2 Tour Guide: Basically there for Alucard and Leviair access. I decided to leave it at 2 since I don't like the idea of running less optimal cards like Night Assailant just to play the third Guide. Kinka-Byo/Mystic Piper: I got this idea from a friend shortly after I build the deck. The idea is that over half the monsters I'm playing are level 1, and most of those aren't cards you want to normal summon. The odds of Piper trading himself for a hand trap plus another card are actually pretty good, and when you are in the early game he gives you a reliable normal summon to help find your engine. Nothing is less fun than looking at a hand of Monarchs that you can't summon because none of your tribute fodder is available. Byo is also nice because its ability to recur veiler makes formula an option, and formula + a monarch tends to lead to good things.   Call of the Haunted: I originally played 2 of this, as it turns anything that's dead into easy tribute fodder. No BLS/Chaos Sorc: Looking online I found a lot of builds similar to this running the chaos bosses. While I would like some kind of blowout boss monster to drop, I don't really think the deck can support them reliably.     So yeah. This is where the deck is at currently. Looking to improve on it as much as possible going forward, at least until PRIO Let me have it.

From initial results, I can say that I really like RUM in this deck. Alucard is easy to put on the board, either with Tour Guide/Crane Crane or with by protecting your monsters via the field spell/Scare/Go-Around. Or just CotH. Bram is also really good here. It's essentially a Goyo Guardian that acitvates during MP and not damage step. Plus, it recurs itself during each SP after it's been destroyed. Anyway, the deck has maindecked answers to Bujin in the form of the Ghostrick trapsm, Jackfrost and Concealing Light, but I seem to be having a hard time against Yamato+Decree+Colosseum. That's mostly why I'm here. I'm not sure if it's as simple as just maining the MSTs or trying out some new tech that will give Bujin a hard time; I just wanted to get an opinion on that one. A Side Deck for this is also up in the air. I'm not completely sure with what I feel comfortable playing. Cards that I found useful for last format that might also be good for this format, Fairy Wind and Skill Drain, are not viable in this deck, so I'm a little thrown off at this point. If this rules question gets the answer I want, then I'll likely play Memory of an Adversary to beat the Bujin match, as well as some Fire Fists.   6. Attacking Stoppers.

    So we all know from last format that the attack stoppers used were Swift Scarecrow and when Felgrand was released, Battle Fader became more relevant. This set gave us too more and each have their own niche.       Okay we can agree that this card actually looks amazing. It can block 2 attacks; 1 by flipping a monster face down and the next with its body.   It can be used to flip down flood gate cards (ophion, dweller, roach, fossil dyna) or just flip problem monsters face down.     This card in the hand can select a monsters attack to block (Bear, Crimson Blader) etc. When it's in the grave, it can block 1 more attack.     Neither cards are usable with dragon rulers, or easily searchable but provide a solid degree of utility
