  1. College Art Class

It's been quite awhile since I posted, went through a small posting and drawing hiatus. Here's some college work, or stuff after art class.   <a href="http://smg.beta.photobucket.com/user/foxes_of_fire/media/527944_130569420414432_494328160_n_zps74145b73.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v502/foxes_of_fire/527944_130569420414432_494328160_n_zps74145b73.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 527944_130569420414432_494328160_n_zps74145b73.jpg"/></a>   my pre-final exam test; it's a multi-media.   <a href="http://smg.beta.photobucket.com/user/foxes_of_fire/media/482620_130569433747764_1691857764_n_zpsbe391a7e.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v502/foxes_of_fire/482620_130569433747764_1691857764_n_zpsbe391a7e.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 482620_130569433747764_1691857764_n_zpsbe391a7e.jpg"/></a>   My Final exam, it's bad quality, huge piece. I took it with my camera phone. Again, it's multi-media.   <a href="http://smg.beta.photobucket.com/user/foxes_of_fire/media/580564_361514090565446_100001205757880_1064340_461278508_n_zps3a2ff7fb.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v502/foxes_of_fire/580564_361514090565446_100001205757880_1064340_461278508_n_zps3a2ff7fb.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 580564_361514090565446_100001205757880_1064340_461278508_n_zps3a2ff7fb.jpg"/></a>   Tattoo girl, a sketch I did of a pin-up girl. Pencil.   <a href="http://smg.beta.photobucket.com/user/foxes_of_fire/media/429829_338046239578898_100001205757880_1001872_156077045_n_zpsacfae5e1.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v502/foxes_of_fire/429829_338046239578898_100001205757880_1001872_156077045_n_zpsacfae5e1.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 429829_338046239578898_100001205757880_1001872_156077045_n_zpsacfae5e1.jpg"/></a>   This is a pretoned charcoal drawing of a bust I did that was in class. It had been made by someone in the pottery class.  (I added nipples. The bust looked weird without them.) essentually the paper is pretoned and then you take small marks out of the paper  with a kneaded eraser in order to create an image. I kinda liked this project. I have a few more of these pretoned drawings stashed away. Charcoal.   <a href="http://smg.beta.photobucket.com/user/foxes_of_fire/media/20130216_231253_zpsad33ab39.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v502/foxes_of_fire/20130216_231253_zpsad33ab39.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 20130216_231253_zpsad33ab39.jpg"/></a>   A succubus drawn for a friend, never finished. Pencil.
  2. At A Crossroads In Life

As it stands, Im 24 years old. A year and a half ago I bought my own house. Its a condo, and it was surprisingly cheap at $65,000. After I got out of High School I never went to college because I was too worried about making money and working full time. I have never gone without a full time job for more than a couple weeks since a month after I turned 16, which I believe really helped me with being responsible. The problem now is that I want more out of my life. Currently I work at a casino thats 20 miles from my house, as a blackjack dealer. I used to be full time in a different department, which was nice for benefits, but I transferred to become a blackjack dealer last July. The plus side is I now average around $18/hr, where as before I was doing around 13.25. The job is more enjoyable as well. The downside is that I work late hours (8 pm to 6 am, fucks with my sleep), have to deal with second hand smoke, and while its relatively easy picking up shifts, Im always worried that Ill reach a point where there wont be extra work and Ill get screwed monetarily. I have a lot of bills to pay for. I have a 3 year loan on a vehicle I bought a couple months ago, which is around 200 a month. I have mortgage payments of 720 a month. With all that I have cell phone, health insurance, car insurance, cable, internet, electricity, groceries, etc. I certainly want to go back to college, because I definitely dont want to work at a casino my whole life. My ideal career would be as an actuary, but any mathematics field would be ok, since I love statistics and any sort of statistical analysis. I know actuarial degrees can take 6ish years, so I constantly feel like I need to catch the train soon or miss it. On the other hand, I dont want to get really in to debt with student loans or else overload myself with work and school. I definitely have to keep working full time, so the thought process is either keep working hard to get some bills caught up and money saved up, then go to school later. Otherwise, I can go part time and probably manage, or try going full time and getting fucked over. My biggest weakness is that Im a huge procrastinator, and I hate it so much. Ill know things I need to do, but more often than not I keep thinking "Im satsfied as I am", even though I know in the long run its the wrong mindset. Ideally, Im waiting to transfer to a department at work thats full time, because then I can go back to school and they offer tuition reimbursement and I can get around 3k a year of school for free. Of course, theres no set timeline on when that can happen. Any advice guys? I know its a tl;dr, but this is really the first time Ive gotten this off my chest.
