Let's pretend that I am starting a new music collection.

I am asking DGz to tell me how to start anew.

For this experiment we will be assuming that I am somebody who prefers to get one album at a time and listen two or three times before getting another. I also will be someone who prefers to build upon what I like for a bit then get something completely different and repeat if I like it.

Go.

dgzcore is pretentious

most of them are pitchfork darlings anyway, and hardly pretentious

Start with Radiohead.

I like you better when you talk about Lady GaGa

So the answer to my question was actually "yes".

I wonder what the cool kids will stop liking next?
