Day 1 is over, here's how Gosus did sixxy ;):

Vittorio 15th @ 6-2

Claudio 74th or so @ 4-4 (even with the best ties at 4-4, he would only be 66th)

Gruner Dropped.

Mathijs Schuurman who got the dragon feature is 13th @ 6-2.

I have the deck ratios, and they will go up on coverage asap.

The format was 7-9 Rounds Day One. There's less than 200 so it's 8 Rounds I beleve.

Top 64 in Swiss play 6 more Rounds Day 2 then Top 8.

I think their records carry over, which is confusing. If the records reset then that would make for perfect Swiss pairings.

Weird setup for a tourney...

Barring last year's problems with KTS and so-on, Euros have always been done in an 8/6 (or thereabouts) format, making it one of the toughest events to top worldwide.

Holy crap, they get a giant screen to show the featured matches on. That's awesome. And here the last SJC I went to we weren't even allowed to watch the finals, so we didn't even know who won for a bit. This is how it should be, a crowd watching the features and finals.

I presume Stafford dropped? Couldn't find his name on the standings.

I want to see the Sven/Vittorio feature match, I never tire of hearing about that stinky Oompa Loompa's misfortune.

Monaghan won the die roll and opted to go first. McMoran held Call of the Haunted, Dark Grepher, Giant Trunade, Infernity Archfiend and Infernity Necromancer.

Meanwhile, Monaghan Set 2 Spell or Trap Cards and followed it up with Summoner Monk. He discarded My Body as a Shield, brought out Rescue Cat and Tributed it for XX-Saber Darksoul and X-Saber Airbellum, the usual suspects. He Special Summoned XX-Saber Faultroll, Tuned his monsters to XX-Saber Hyunlei, used the effect of XX-Saber Faultroll to bring back X-Saber Airbellum and used it and the Synchro Monster to Special Summon XX-Saber Gottoms. He Tributed XX-Saber Faultroll for the effect of XX-Saber Gottoms, hitting Dark Grepher, and passed.

WHAT?????
