I keep rebirthing the topic because I know it deserves it, not to mention I favorited it and plan on listening to it.

And this is awesome when you're working on something and having it in the background:

Nice original pick. I have a track that similarly does that for me (warning: it always skips for me a little in, might want to let it load). You already know it, though.

Very nice, it always gets me pumped in IWBTG, although, I don't last long and get to hear it long enough. The beginning is strong, though.

This JUST came on my Media Player:

If I were to go back and play this again, would I regret it?

I have it downloaded on my PS3. Best 10 bucks spent

The Streets of Rage 2 soundtrack is the best game soundtrack of its generation. Every level's sound design was incredible.

the silent hill soundtrack creeps me out. so perfect

I find it both disturbing and beautiful at the same time.

Akira Yamaoka is love.

Akira knows what he's doing because he caters the soundtrack to the story. As it develops, the ideas, the plot, and his own feelings getting intertwined and if you see him during recording he sorts of lets himself go. All of it combines in his head and he starts playing what feels right, and he's been completely on the money because the soundtrack synchs amazingly with the story.

SH2's really does it for me as a great masterpiece. It perfectly harmonizes with the concept of being isolated and alone with nobody to save you. Not save you from monsters, save you from yourself. It's as if you're trapped in your head while a great headache freezes over your thoughts and pounds a reminder into you that you have no hope of escaping from yourself.

But anyway, this one gets me every time:
