I really love the colors in the lighthouse photo 9138 but the focus of the shot seems to be on the rocks which is the less interesting part of the photo imo. There is too much going on in the back for draw to be on the foreground.

9133 is well done. You made good use of space and perspective. The height viewed from below creates a cool effect.

9128 is pretty sweet too. Props on finding the spot where there was a puddle that reflected the lighthouse.

9069: I'm a big fan of long exposure on moving lights but I think you should try and compose the shot so that you don't get non-lighted moving things in your view. The moving carousel horse takes away from the effect because it looks distorted. 9061 doesn't have that issue with it and the result is a much cooler shot.

I def agree about 9058. It's a really beautiful shot.

Cool stuff brah.

I guess I got my intended result in 9069 then, since I was trying to get it blurred people. Thank you for all of the compliments everyone. :)

Have ever thought about implementing The Rule of Thirds more into your photos? I see a lot of potential shots that just ended up boring because the focus of the photo was just placed straight in the middle.

Ex: The lighthouse photos most of the time was just placed right in the middle, though I really loved 9132.

I thought 8925 was awkward because of the random lines shooting across the shot lol. same with 8892

I also liked 8947 despite it's simplicity.

Thanks for the criticism. Honestly I had never shot anything before, so this was a big learning experience for me, and I was more focused on messing around with aperture, shutter speed, and iso. Focusing and framing are the main things I want to work on next. Most of the shots I was using the autofocus, which might have something to do with the rather boring focus of many shots. Also, 8925 and 8892, in addition to the rest of the shots from the concert were literally my first time with the camera, so I'm not too surprised they look off. Also, I really liked 8947 too. Thanks! :)

Just got a Canon t3i for my birthday. First photo I took with it today. I got it mainly for video, but I was walking from my dorm to lower campus and couldn't miss this shot.

Might as well bump this up. Crazy how I first posted this almost 2 years ago. Anyways, I've been fooling around with a new lens and this is the result so far. The last 3 were actually shot the other night right after magic hour. The rest I shot this morning right around/after sunrise. I feel like I've come quite a long way since the first stuff here.
