I'm still laughing at the Palmer trade. I doubt his arm is any better. A QB with an inaccurate, weak arm throwing to a WR corps that can't do anything but run deep and then drop the ball? I think this is going to bring lulz for weeks to come. I'd say years but I don't think he'll be there longer then a year or so.

Anyone else feel that there are a few teams, maybe 5 or 6, that are head and shoulders above everyone else right now?

I must be missing something because I don't remember his arm being weak or even close. Inaccurate is a fair argument though

His arm strength began to fade in 2009.

The Raiders didn't have much of a choice. With Garrard having back surgery, it was either overpay for Palmer, stick with Bollocks or sign Delhomme.

His arm has been weak since it got injured, yeah.

They're a mediocre team that hasn't had a winning season since 2002. They're gambling the future of their team on a quarterback who, quite frankly, isn't going to get them very far. They MIGHT make the playoffs but they won't make the conference championship, let alone the Super Bowl. Their choice was to lose this season or lose for the next several seasons and they chose the latter.

I like Hue Jackson, but it was a stupid move.

The Raiders have enough promising youth to build on (especially at receiver and linebacker) to compensate for a lost draft.

The officials have raped my Seahawks of a W. WTF. Unnecessary roughness on Chancellor my ass. Block in the back during the punt return my ass. Thanks for fucking losing the game for us. And thanks Big Red, for adding insult to injury with your end of game ejection.

Some random notes:

Chris Johnson (or CJ2YPC as I call him) has been benched for poor play. I knew the Titans should have traded him the moment he began to demand to be one of the top paid players.
Same old Chargers. They're not nearly as good as their record indicates and Philip Rivers has regressed significantly.
The Lions are falling apart even worse than in 2007.
"With the first pick in the 2012 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins select Andrew Luck, quarterback, Stanford."
I was right when I said Tebow > Clausen on draft day.

Their receivers all suck.

And Carson Palmer throws his first Pick 6 as a Raider. That didn't take long.

Either DeMarco Murray proves Felix Jones is a terrible back or the Rams are that fucking bad.
