ALTEREALITYGAMES.COM OPEN SERIES

The ARG Open Series is an entire weekend of YuGiOh! & Kaijudo with a Saturday main event, Sunday Finals with a mini main event on Sunday and a potent schedule of side events each day.  The YuGiOh! main event offers $5,000 in extravagant prizes, Kaijudo main event $1,000 cash.  Both will also offer ARG Open Points, and straight qualifications for our  ARG Open Invitational in late 2013 or early 2014, TBA.  Check out our upcoming event schedule as they are announced, and make plans to attend an event near you!

Saturday – 10AM – Entry: $20
Registration: 8AM – 9:45AM*

Advanced Constructed Format $5,000 Prize Pool***

1st Place: $1,500*** – 25 Open Points + 5 Booster Packs w/entry
2nd Place: $1000*** – 20 Open Points + 5 Booster Packs w/ entry
3rd-4th Place: $300*** – 10 Open Points + 5 Booster Packs w/ entry
5th-8th Place: $150*** – 8 Open Points + 5 Booster Packs w/ entry
9th-32nd Place: $50*** – 5 Open Points +  5 Booster Packs w/ entry
33rd-64th Place 2 Open Points + 5 Booster Packs w/ entry
65th+: 1 Open Point + 5 Booster Packs w/ entry

***As an Official (KTS) Konami Tournament Store we will award prizes in Apple Products, Computers & Tablets, Flight Vouchers, Hotel Accommodations, Laptops, Play Station 4, Store Credit,  TV & Home Theatre, X-Box One.  The amount of prizes will be endless as we will continue to add the hottest prizes available to our prize list catalog.  Our prize coordinator will work one on one to assist you in the perfect match for prize.  Additionally you may store your winnings on line and keep track of them on www.alterealitygames.com and you can combine them till you decide you need that flight or hotel room to the next YCS or a new TV for your dorm room.  Store credit can also be used for anything on our website, even registering for the next ARG Open or a Booster Box of the newest set.

Yes, there are plans for some sort of coverage. 

 

Livestreaming might come later, but thats eventually where we want to end up, since we like, dont report to Japan

I'm a little confused on the prizes. What are "Open Points"? Also, are the cash value prizes essentially credit that you can save up to buy yugioh and non yugioh things?
