A lot of people listing House of Cards.

Do you guys still enjoy it?

I'm struggling to get captivated into this season. The quality is there. Beautiful acting. cinematography, witty and challenging dialogue.... but its just a bit stale now. Theres only so many times I can see the same thing over and over again. Okay, we get it, hes smart and everyone else is dumb, hes a slimy obvious prick who plays the media, he has this weird sexual relationship with his wife and other men, his wife is a weird cold bitch.

I much preferred season 1 where at least we had a larger breadth of interesting characters to contrast the big 2.

I can't help but shake the feeling this should have ended a season or two ago.

I'm asking as I'm not sure if I'm just being harsh on it and not giving it a fair run.

black sails season 2. one of the best seasons of tv i've ever watched. season 1 is a setup for epicness.

has a game of thrones feel (Sex/violence/plot threads/multiple storylines/fast pacing) to it but it involves pirates and less need for killing of main characters who still have a lot to give.

keep meaning to watch black sails so will get on it

i have a new updated and far better list now;

1. The Newsroom

2. Game of Thrones

3. Billions

4. Daredevil

5. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

6. Jessica Jones

7. House of cards

8. Rome

9. Big Little Lies

10. The Flash

Omissions:

Breaking Bad / Better Call Saul - quality TV and I've watched it all, but whilst I super appreciate the undoubted quality I just never felt truly invested

The Wire - I've not watched

I would strongly advise anyone to watch the newsroom if they even remotely enjoyed house of cards.

Literally everyone now has to watch Twin Peaks then watch the return, after that if the return is not your top show then you really have to justify yourself

I will get on it ASAP. After a new show.

I did start to watch season 1 and enjoyed it. My only real issue was it lacked addictiveness. The women in Twin Peaks are BEAUTIFUL, like probably some of the most good looking female cast people ever.

After you finish watch Fire Walk With Me as well as it’s pretty much needed to get the full effect to The Return
