Goat Format Odds/Percentages

Recommended Posts

This is absolutely arbitrary, but I made a "Should You Blindly MST/Storm?" scale.

This is a rough outline, and it may be in need of both nuance and simplification.

1 is the most probable certainty of "No".  10 is the highest certainty of "Yes".  We start at 5.

Add a point for each true statement.

Subtract a point for each false statement.

* You are up on card advantage.

* The opponent's life points are "low"

* You are able to optimally Summon Airknight Parshath this turn.

* You control no monsters you're afraid of losing.

* You control no Spells/Traps you're afraid of losing.

* The opponent controls 2 monsters.

* The opponent has at least 1 Scapegoat in graveyard.

* The opponent has no Call of the Haunted in graveyard OR no Jinzo/Sangan in graveyard.

* The opponent has no Torrential Tribute in graveyard.

* The opponent has no Mirror Force in graveyard.

* The opponent has no Sakuretsu Armor in graveyard.

* The opponent has no Ring of Destruction in graveyard.

I'm also interested if anyone has a formula to determine the identity of a set monster.  Or ways to predict whether the opponent has Snatch Steal, Premature Burial, etc. in hand.

You claim that this a "formula" to determine whether or not you should blind MST/Storm. In math, in order to accept a formula as true, you need to prove it. What evidence do you have to support the claim that following this formula results in a correct play?

Yeah I have a formula that I employ all the time to make these types of decisions. It's called my ventromedial prefrontal cortex.
