Reading Recommendations

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any reading recommendations that are Urban Fantasy? The only thing I have read in the genre is the Dresden Files, and I read those ravenously. So anything in the vein of that series would be awesome.

I quite liked the Hollows series by Rachel Harrison, though I've only read the first couple novels. Kind of lost track of the series.

I've also read good things about the Mercy Thompson novels by Patricia briggs.

The Sookie Stackhouse novels (adapted into HBO's True Blood series, but the novels' narrative is very different beyond like the first season or something) are in the same vein.

Now that I typed that post I came to the sudden realization this genre is probably dominated by women. Vampire fetishes man...

I will look into these, the mythology aspect of American Gods seem cool.
