lol at all the people who named 300 when this thread was first made.

no order

The Shawshank Redemption

Pan's Labyrinth

The Godfather

There Will Be Blood

No Country for Old Men

Forest Gump

Pulp Fiction

Spirited Away

Apocalypse Now

Reservoir Dogs

I have not seen Citizen Kane, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest or Schindler's List (gasp) which is why they are not included. I have seen Fight Club I just didn't include it 'cos it's not good enough.

no order.

The Shawshank Redemption

Godfather Part II

The Godfather

Lawrence of Arabia

No Country for Old Men

The Departed

Dr. Strangelove

Goodfellas

Apocalypse Now

Toy Story 2

I still think Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are both slightly overrated, both are expected "favorite movies".

it is the best pixar movie, and please don't say TS1 or the Incredibles. There was absolutely no negative thing about TS2.

I'm hoping I can take Reservoir Dogs off the list when I see some of the films mentioned in this thread that I've not seen. Citizen Kane etc...

They're both exceptional and are my 3rd and 4th favorite Pixar movies. Wall E actually left me with a tear.

American Psycho/Psycho

those two are completely different movies

I didn't mean to compare them because they are obviously very different I just couldn't figure which one I liked more at the time, but after rewatching them I determined psycho is a much better movie

Why aren't people able to differentiate favourite 10 movies/top 10 movies. I love V for Vendetta, Fight Club, Batman Begins/TDK and a lot of newer movies, but they clearly aren't top 10 ever.

When I made this thread, I actually meant it to be your favorite ten movies. I even state that in the first post.

My top 10 keeps changing but it would be something like this at the moment.

The Departed

Pan's Labyrinth

Tropic Thunder

Memento

Garden State

Donnie Darko

Schindler's List

American Gangster

Akira

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Top 10

1: Hannibal-series

1: Se7en

1: Pay it Forward

2: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

2: Shawshank Redemption

2: American History X

2: Good Will Hunting

3: Boy A

4: Scarface

5: Blood in, Blood out

In order. <_<"

The reason for lack of Fight Club is pretty much the ending. I loved the entire movie AND the plot twist, but the ending was horrible imo.
