You, too, can have an epic gaming PC.

How much will the price be cut if all the gaming accessories are taken out for a cute poseur pc?

Can you rephrase? I don't get what you mean?

Like, do you want to take a bad computer and make it epic, or just make a stripped down workable box

if NO games are to be played at all then I'm gonna SFF you - this comp will be the size of as hoebox and still fly

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...&CatId=1210

Small form factor case, motherboard, $150 USD, features onboard video and sound

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...&CatId=2396

Intel Core 2 Duo E4500, $129

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...6&CatId=139

500 GB hard drive, $119

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...p;Sku=O261-8070

TWO of this - 4gb of ram - $110

no point looking for a DVD R drive, they're like 50 bucks

About 600 bucks for a computer that'll do anything but game godly, and to game well you just need a video card thrown in.

Will multitask epicly

Here's a cheaper alternative that should work about as well for slightly less, and should work better for your purposes, it's not not as easily upgradable

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...p;Sku=O261-8070

2 GB ram - 54 bucks

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...5&CatId=332

Shuttle Small Form Factor case, motherboard with video and audio, 99$

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...p?EdpNo=2927576

Amd Athlon X2 3800+, 59$

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...6&CatId=139

same 500 GB hard drive, $119

Add in a 50 buck CD drive and you're at about $350, all said and done

get the kid who fixes your computer to do it for you.

Most of what i show you will be partly built and you'll need to put expansion cards in.

It's a lot like lego.

500$ is more than enough for a decent gaming computer. People claim PC gaming is too expensive, but valueo f a $500 computer is a LOT better value than a $400 Xbox360.

If I can make like 1000 bucks before Warhammer Online comes out, I could prob get something like this made.

Computer

Internets: $30

Games TPB Edition: $0

Total: 530

XBox:

Internets: $30

Router: $50

The fact you need a computer to confugre said router: $100-2500

XBL: $40

Any one game: $60

Total: $550 + more if you want other games.

And of course, you could argue internets need a router too, but a twenty dollar gap is hardly distinguishable especially if you plan on playing more than one Xbox game.

For gaming it's better than an LCD, you just need to cope with the total loss of disk space

And ice cream - you never know, Koldhearted might read your post and try to use it against me later
