I really like the art style of this manga (the progression from Rave was fantastic, imo), and the themes are pretty cool.

It reminds me a lot of OP, overall, too, which was an instant draw.

The current arc keeps flip-flopping from shitty to exciting, but hopefully by the end (which will also hopefully be soon), some important main plot points will be expanded upon.

Like I said in the op, I wish the cat development would end up having something to do with the dragons, but it'll probably end up being that they were just sent to follow DS's because they have the strongest magical potential or something :|

IIRC, all they said was that Gajeel and Juvia were S-Class mages in Phantom Lord. Perhaps they just have to earn that status again in Fairy Tail.

Im pretty sure your rank is determined by your guildmaster. If it was determined by strength alone Natsu would already hold the position seeing as he is on par (to a degree) with erza and luxas.

Depends on where the fight takes place. But I have to a agree with you. I doubt Gildartz would give Natsu a minute to eat fire.

mest seems like a fodder character. I think they'll push what's her face to s-class because of whatever issue she keeps having.

Natsu most likely fucked himself by choosing Happy.
Cana fucked herself by picking Lucy w/o Loki.
Grey made a smart choice imo but will be taken out by Mirajane.
Levy got SOOOOO lucky.
Elfman will not win because he is Elfman.
Luvia is just awesome but is still Luvia :(
Fried would be my choice to win if this wasnt fairy tail.
Mest is a fag imo.

Some how I think Natsu will come out of no where and set up the win for someone random.

Fried will take people out of the picture for long periods of time before losing out to Luvia.
