Hale's comic lacks in funny in my opinion. It's great cause it's really well done but the humor from the original is just not in it. It's more of a manga-humor style than a reference driven smart comedy. I still like it a lot though, it's one of the best fan comics. His artwork is amazing. The prologue had me laughing for a while.

referencing lost all the time and things that annoyed you in a video game isnt exactly being a genius at referencing things. hes smart at what he does but its a one trick pony when it comes down to it.

i'm not saying this is arrested development level referencing, i was just comparing why i think nuzlocke is better than hale. besides, he makes one lost reference every 2-3 episodes. it's funny if you actually watch the show >_>.

I just read all of Hale's fan comic and it was really enjoyable. The beginning referencing MGS4 was very funny and throughout it made me chuckle. the last one he did when Shedinja died and he was like ''ahh well it was just a holow shell'' and its like ''im glad i could serve you'' XDDDDD loool

nuzlocke has actual references in his chapters, hale doesn't. that's probably why.

Pt Nuzlocke is SO boring, unless you get a Shinx/Starly/Bidoof. I got stuck with all Bidoofs, a Starly, and a Kricketune.
