hahahaha yeah that's pretty tough at first
Pokes needed: Golem, Arcanine/Vapereon, Snorlax
Others reccomended: Gengar, Scyther, Magneton
Put the golem top left with bulldoze and the snorlax next to it (over the candy - snorlax using yawn)
Under the candy put arcanine/vapereon and have it use helping hand, then switch immediately to roar
Whilst golem is dealing with the first 4 waves, put your scyther next to your snorlax
Then go to the bottom, after 4 waves move the golem down to bottom left, then put gengar next to it and magneton on the next available space on the bottom
At wave 6, move the golem back to the top, have arcanine/vapereon use helping hand again, then switch to hydro pump/fireblast
Golem slows down mewtwo and snorlax stalls it while arcanine/vapereon do a little damage
Gengar/Magneton/Scyther take out the slowbro and jynx's, then they can all proceed to attack mewtwo (snorlax ywan is pretty essential)
(you think this is difficult, wait till cinanbar gym - entei and moltres lol)

how do I get snorlax, and magneton?
I have a gengar, 2 golems, 2 arcanines, and 2 vaporeons
I've been trying to get a magnemite forever, especially so that I can boost on route 12 a bit easier!

...thinking about it, i don't think you CAN get magneton till the power plant
snorlax is in the ghost tower part 2 on the left, really rare though
You could probably replace the magneton with a second golem

This giant Muk is wrecking me, I got pretty far but those Hypnos fuck up my Gengar.

Giant muk is piss easy. It uses poison gas...just use pokemon that aren't affected by it (steel, ghost, poison).

Posted 12 August 2012 - 01:47 PM
I only have access to Gengar, Tentacruel and Vileplume, which all get shit on by the Hypnos. ;__;

Make sure your gengar is using shadow ball, tenta is using surf and vile using gigadrain.
Genuinely cannot remember what steel types you can get up until that point...

every enemy and every friend
right, first 3 things you gotta realize is that:
-neither moltres nor entei take the candy
-moltres hits way harder than entei
-moltres is the only thing in the level that can resist eq
have a poke with helping hand (preferably vapereon) +5 dragonite/charizard/gyarados, all with eq and rest
1. stick the 4 eq users along the bottom (where entei is) and have them keep attacking, and keep resting when entei isnt near them. ignore the top row at the start as the eqs should deal with everything that isnt moltres. (can use vaps for helping hand on occassion)
2. when all the waves are done and only moltres remains (resting +eqing should have killed entei), take off all the eq users
3. then put vapereon and 1/2 of the eq users on the top row, instead of eq use stone edge or rock slide
4.make sure vaps has aqua ring on and is using surf
5. helping hand boost, rest when moltres isnt near you, then keep smacking that moltres till it dies (vapereon heals itself with aqua ring)

oh it helps to have vapereon use rain dance at the start to make the fire attacks from moltres/entei weaker.
vapereon moveset: rain dance/aqua ring/surf/helping hand
