Quitting competitive play. YGO is the only card game in the universe where you can lose on the first turn or get completely locked up before you have a turn. One of these strategies is always tier 1. Once you get to a certain level of play, this game just becomes who draws better. I don't know how people can keep complaining about this game and just keep on going. Just look at the dueling network thread, that's 400 pages of complaining. Most of it is complaining about some player 100x worse than you drawing the nuts. Then people just keep playing without giving a single other game out there a try. Maybe it's just because all their friends keep playing. That's why I've stayed playing for the past few years. Hey, maybe I'll be pressured into playing again as a spare time hobby despite saying I won't because no one will pick up the games I want seriously since they're so stuck in playing ygo.
